View Full Version : Spurs looking to win first road game since February 24

While it's mostly due to a heavy home schedule in March, the Spurs haven't won on the road since beating the Suns on February 24.

Time to right the ship and get one (or two) in LA.

Blake was killing us out there yesterday! They are falling appart but thats the long season. Nash looks at half speed out there at most. I hope the Spurs go out there and get game 3, pounce on them now.

You go out there with a finish them and killers mentality, try to take them out.

2-12 (I think) at Staples Center vs. Lakers in the playoffs since 2001.

Pulling Bruce off snitch when he had him cooled down he was like 2013 snitch is the worst mistake of Pop's career; 2008 snitch instantly morphed into pre-rape form while Udoka played the role of Antonio Daniels.

I was just watching highlights of that game, and damn Gasol looked solid back then. But yeah, Udoka should've been assistant coach already.

110-82, Game Six of the 2003 WCSF, however, is one of my favorites.

I predict sweep. Lakers really have nothing to offer. Blake banged up, Nash also. Howard throwing elbows instead of playing basketball.

If you need fucking pregnancy shots just to step on the court maybe you shouldn't be playing. Throw in the towel D'Antoni, the stars are not aligned for your team this year.

Dumb thread. The Lakers are so banged up they might not be able to suit up a backcourt. The Spurs will sweep the series.

It's kind of baffling to me. In two games we go from a huge number of the people in this forum cliff jumping and saying we have no shot at the Finals this year to bashing someone for just pointing out a small quibble with our recent road record?

Upstairs is one of the most confusing places on Earth.

Keep up the posts, Nono. Good stuff.

The Spurs had a full roster for the one point loss at Houston. They were missing at least one key player in the other six games:

Minnesota: Tim, Tony, Kawhi
Memphis: Tim, Manu, Kawhi
OKC: Manu
Denver: Tony, Manu, Boris
Lakers: Manu. Boris
Golden State: Tim, Tony, Manu, Kawhi, Boris

Yeah, while this stat is interesting to bring up, the Spurs as a unit haven't been right since around the All Star Break. I don't think it's a home or away thing, although away games are probably tougher when you don't have your stars or they aren't playing well.

Spurs didn't give a shit about the season once 2nd seed was locked up. So I'd say last game Spurs tried to win on the road was vs. OKC. Still this series vs. LA means nothing, LA has no business in the playoffs. As I said before, this is more like a pre-season. the real season starts in round 2.

no need to hate a 1 trick pony. He is what he is. Let's hope he starts hitting shots otherwise besides being a 1 trick pony, he'll be a playoff choker. Hopefully we'll know the answer soon enough because we have TMAC nuke ready for blast off :tu
