Why the grey uniforms instead of white?

Mavs fans talking about uniforms? For all the hype of a great owner in Cuban the Mavs uniforms seem bland and out-dated - perhaps they are trying to emulate their Big Daddy in the Spurs?

I made this when the Atl. Jerseys first came out. It was done in like 5 mins so it looks like major crap, But at least you get an idea!

I have yet to see the Greys but in the start of the season against the Clippers, the Spurs wore their Home Whites on the road for that game. Clippers wore their Alternate Blue Uniforms.

I wish the Spurs would use their classic white jerseys at home during the playoffs. The grey jerseys are very boring looking. I guess the franchise likes the way the media perceives them as boring that they felt they might as well dress boring too.
