I want Pop to go on inside the nba so badly. Him and Chuck would be gold

I forgot Magic was on Inside for a bit, he was better on there than he is at the home of his Lakers, ESPN/ABC, but thank God that didn't last. Young guys like CWebb and Shaq make it so much better.

Shaq sucks on TNT

imo 3s company 4 is a crowd. never understand why TNT want to integrate a 4th wheel in there. just shits on the hole show

same reason why Jack Tripper could not maintain a steady girl while rooming with Crissy and Janet tbh

"You're the most exciting European player..." - Magic.

Yike.

^Shit, Kenny had him as the #8 best "Euro" at that point... :lol

but Shaq is entertaining to me... I didn't think he would work, or like him at first, but he's funny as hell. When C-Webb was sitting in on a regular basis was the best 4-man crew tho, imo. C-Webb loves basketball, you can tell he sits at home and watches league pass when he's not at work. Need more C-Webb, tbh

Technically, Manu is South American. I'm appalled by the ignorance. :pctoss

Manu has definitely gotten better at speaking English since then.

Both Shaq and Magic are god awful as analysts and the only reason they're on TV is because they were Hall-of-Fame players who have name recognition. Magic, from everything I've read is a really smart businessman who's made a fortune after he retired, but on TV he sounds like an absolute moron and for some reason, as genius as he was playing basketball, he has no ability to analyze it or figure out what's going on at all. He's mostly just a Lakers homer.

Shaq, I'm not sure how good of a businessman he is, but he sounds almost as dumb as Magic when he does bother to analyze anything (which is rare) but more often than not he's content to just clown around or make dumb sound affects or act like a dope on the show.

Chris Webber wasn't in their class as a player, and he has a sketchy rep as a person, but he's actually an excellent analyst and I think "Inside the NBA" would be greatly improved if he replaced Shaq. Brent Barry, meanwhile, is very good himself and he's being wasted on NBATV. He should be on ESPN instead of Magic, who just doesn't belong on TV.

Magic and Shaq are both awful at the desk, but at least Shaq tries to be funny. Magic is just shitty analysis and talks super fucking slow

"GINOOOOBLIIII". That was awesome. I really liked that Magic noticed that Manu is the most exciting (still is today).

No shit didn't realize Barkley has been doing the Ginobili chant for that long.

It started during the 2003 playoff run. I wish I could find the clip of Manu with the headphones on being interviewed and Barkley keeps yelling his name, and Manu is just losing it.

Great clip. I think the quote about taking all the shots and being "the man" and now being a player on a team in support of Tim is the most telling. Not sure how many superstars could have done that as effortlessly as Manu. :toast
