last night as the game was winding down i saw a ghetto Lakers fan up in the face of a Spurs fan in a blue tshirt. they were jawing back and forth before they both went down the stairs (still jawing). i was coming down from the upper level when i heard a smack. i came around the corner and the ghetto Lakers' fan was on the floor. :rollin :rollin

GO SPURS GO! :ihit

*this happened on the right side of the stadium in the concourse near where the BBQ place is now

Cool! Evidence! I hope they both get thrown in jail for having a drunken brawl in a hallway where people are walking their kids.

Two things:

1. I've gone to almost every home game for the last nine seasons and Laker fans are, by far, the worst group of visiting fans. It's not even close.

2. These last two games have shown how much of Laker Nation is really Kobe Nation. There were far fewer Laker fans at these two playoff games than at typical Laker regular season games over the years.

There was one skirmish upstairs in the concourse outside of Sections 208-210 working toward that escalator. I'm not sure whether there were any punches thrown, but there was a pack of jackass Laker fans who were basically threatening to fight any Spurs fans who talked any noise about the Lakers.

There was something going on in section 223 or 224 upstairs late in the 4thQ. I wonder if it was the same two guys in the video since it's at the bottom of the escalator.

Damn, that's on the other side of the arena. Looks like there was more than one skirmish. We actually had decent Laker fans around us. One cocky guy ended up helping this lady with a cane walk down the steps.

interesting perspective from the trenches. even from the broadcast, i didn't see as many Laker fans in the audience like you normally do on TV. Kobe is probably the greatest example of style over substance, and apparently that is what sells.

Lets be honest there are plenty of ghetto Spurs fans as well, and if blue shirt guy was willing to throw down in the hallway during a basketball game hes probably one of them. Good for him though, its always nice seeing a lakerfan getting their ass beat tbh.

That used to happen all the time in the Alamodome, tbh. Lakers fans used to have to run out the building when the Spurs won. The AT&T Center attracts a more passive Spurs fan so these fights are more rare nowadays.

Kinda looked like blue shirt had his space violated by laker fan with the wall to one side and laker fan to the right, who appeared much larger btw. It even appeared laker may have thrown the first punch given that the motion of the two went from standing still to left, though that is speculation. But in the end blue shirt prevailed.

I guess I won't be taking my daughter to any playoff games.. Fools just looking for an excuse to fight. I've been to 6 or 7 games at the AT&T center and I've seen some mouthing off and taunting at Mavs fans in the nosebleeds, nothing more. How often does this pop off at Spurs games?

16 rings... I guess following a team with that record doesn't make you a winner as well. That was embarrassing. How in the hell are you going to start a fight, throw the first punch and then get your jersey ripped off and laid out like a bitch. I hope the blue shirt dude kept the jersey as a souvenir.

Lakers fan runs his mouth non stop all the time. When they win they're in your ear. When they lose, they're STILL in your ear about 16 titles. They are carbon copies of fans on this board.

This is Spurstalk, but like Laker fans in the at&t center, they have to come here to shit. Sometimes you say shit to the wrong dude.

True.

If other Laker fans had stepped in to help the Kobe fan beat down Spurs fan, Laker posters here would be talking about how the dude in the Kobe jersey carried all his friends to a victorious beat down over spur fan even though he was getting his ass beat.

Wow, awfully big dude! Throws the first punch. Gets his ass whipped. He got what he deserved. Wrong place, surrounded by the wrong crowd.

At the same time, this is the shittiest aspect of trying to go to a professional sports game. I got to Spurs Nuggets game all the time in Colorado. I'm a Spurs fan, always have people threaten to try and fight me. Not that I would advise them to. I keep pretty quiet too, when watching games. I clap and enjoy. But I don't get dumb. When a person drops $200 they should be able to enjoy a game without physical violence. Fans should at least try to have some class. This guy what he deserved.

lol dumbass Kobe Laker fan even threw a haymaker as the first punch only to get fatigued and beaten three seconds later :lol @ how Laker fan was kicking his feet in the air around 23 seconds in

Excellent point. Reminds me of the time I was minding my own business while doing some good natured slam dancing at a little place on St Mary's St, White Rabbit IIRC. All of the sudden some guy clamps some kind of weird cobra hold on me out of the blue. I'm like, OK? AWKWARD. He quickly realized he acting like a fool and backed off. Although I am average sized, he was probably intimidated by my extreme good looks and slam dancing skills and just lost it for a moment. I know how to hit you, but its all well within the protocol of a seasoned slam dancer.

Later someone tells me at the bar the guy is an Army Ranger. Kind of funny because I was pretty sure I could handle him had he not taken me by such total surprise even though he was a little bigger than I. I have always been that type of fool myself, LOL. (not a troublemaker though)

As far as the fight, great to see the Spurs fan prevail, someone please buy him some proper Spurs gear though! I had to LMAO as on the first punch think the guy actually blocked it and the Laker fan just about fell down on his own. Genius move by blue shirt guy to pull the jersey over his head as it appeared to completely disorient and fatigue the other guy. What a titanic battle!

Exactly, it looked obvious from the first video that the Spur fan was trying to avoid confrontation but the laker fan kept getting in his face and ultimately threw the first punch. Spur fan was WELL within his legal right of self defense and trounced the fool.

no doubt about it! i was thinking the same while at the game last night. still stupid fuckin' kobe jersey's floating about the at&t center but not as many laker "fans". the only other laker jersey i saw, that wasn't kobe, was 1 magic jersey and only 1.
