EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) Steve Nash needed three injections for pain relief on the Los Angeles Lakers' day off. He's still more likely to play in Game 3 on Friday night than Steve Blake or Jodie Meeks.

Again, if we don't blow this team out tonight, I'll be very surprised. Tony seems to be getting to 100% healthy as is Manu and for the Fakers to be down to their 3rd string trio of guards and off-guards, we HAVE to take an early and decisive advantage. Here's hoping T-Mac's dressed and ready for Hollywood!

Nash is out. Morris and Goudelock will start. "Our two bigs have to dominate," D'Antoni said.

Obviously Nash and Blake are more talented offensively, but LA's starting backcourt is now more athletic and much better defensively. Something to watch.

Pumped for this game tonight, watching the Knicks take it to Boston and hope we'll have a similar result tonight. There is no reason why the Lakers should win unless someone goes off for 40 and 20 tonight.

Goudelock is a Neal clone
he could easily go full retard one game and win it
Morris is actually a very good on ball defender also and will give Tony more trouble then Blake/Nash combined defensively
if Manu doesnt hit everything he throws up int he first 2 games the results could have been closer then they were
have to keep eyes on Green/Splitter
see if both of them can get going offensively because they will be the key for a championship
Splitter defends Gasol like he has all season it should be a good win and theyll get worn out
Antoni might be playing them both 48 mins tonight

We should at least spot the Lakers the Coyote he can get the Staples center going at least.. god its like church in there, everyone is quiet.
tbh the lakers don't even belong in the playoffs. I want to believe we're doing excellent thus far but the Lakers are on another level of suck right now tbh

Manu bailed out this scrub lineup again...
Pretty strange. I've never heard him like this before.
It is clear to me that the announcers are aware that the audience in the L.A. market is bigger than the audience in the S.A. market, and they are announcing to that market. Hubie is not nearly as obnoxious as Reggie Miller was in the last game, though.

Imagine what it's like to be a Lakers fan right now. Your team is trailing in the series 2-0 and is already losing by twelve points by the end of the first quarter. There's every reason to think that that series deficit will be 3-0 a few hours from now.
Bonner has been great. Really stepped up in Diaw's absence. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Not overly thrilled with how the Spurs are playing, but hard to complain about the first Q results. Just feels like the Spurs are not clicking totally although they were playing very calm and collected. Energy is somewhat low, but I guess it's ok due to circumstance. Just wonder if this lack of intensity will come back to haunt them later..
I really really wish we would stop wishing for TMac to take the floor when he not only is not in uniform but they have said he will not play.....so what is the point?

I'm tired of that old fuck announcer's obvious Lakers homerism.
When he said, "if I'm a Lakers fan I'm upset with that call". . .the fuck does he mean "if"? He's been crying about every call against the Lakers and every other call the Spurs get. Then talkin about all the shit LA needs to do.
