I don't think so Danny, apparently the NBA isn't too keen on other's displaying NBA footage without their expressed consent. Maybe someone could e-mail them to ya, or something. I'm sure there's a way to get you some Bball videos.

Yeah - you're not going to see clips or whole games (or even links to them) posted here for very long. That kind of stuff can cause all kinds of problems for Kori and LJ. From what they've said in the past, such things can even lead to the shutting down of forums.

In order words asking for illegal stuff online isn't really gonna make the LJ and Kori happy...

That forum has been up and running for a long time and the users there do nothing but share NBA clips, videos and highlights. I don't see anyone from the NBA objecting to that forum at all. As long as no one is trying to profit from it I don't think the NBA really cares what you do with the clips and everything to be honest.

Well you're wrong, the NBA shut down two fan sites and stripped the credentials of another one just this season for posting videos.

There had to be more of a reason than that. There are just too many b-ball forums out there (some very popular ones) that share video files all the time and they never get reprimanded or banned. Were those 2 fan sites by any chance trying to profit from selling games or offering stuff up on E-bay? That's the only reason I could see the NBA getting upset over it. I just don't see the NBA hunting down these internet sites and shutting them down simply for sharing NBA content since it's been going on for years.

No, these sites just had members who posted links to NBA footage. They were warned but then someone else posted another link and then the NBA saw it and decided to take them down. The NBA isn't going to take down every site that has video, but if an official media member is associated with it or something like that ... then the NBA isn't going to like it.
I don't know why people continue to fight it. It's pretty damn simple.

No, they weren't selling them. They were warned to stop doing it and didn't.
The NBA is very strict about redistributing their content.

That's messed up. I guess those sites were targeted for some reason. Insidehoops.com even has a forum dedicated to sharing NBA content and writers from their site have actually been quoted on NBA shows lol. If you don't mind me asking which fan sites got killed off?

You can't take your chances if this is your job...and if you pay alot of money to keep it running, LJ and Kori can't afford anything like this Ginobili_20_gold_medalist...
And we can't either.
