LSU CB Tharold Simon arrested on draft night

LSU cornerback Tharold Simon was arrested Thursday night for allegedly intimidating a police officer in his hometown of Eunice, La., according to KATC.com. Eunice city officials planned to proclaim Friday as “Tharold Simon Day” during a ceremony, and that will go on as planned according to Mayor Rusty Moody.

LSU running back Jeremy Hill arrested for battery

LSU running back and leading rusher Jeremy Hill was arrested for simple battery by Baton Rouge City Police Friday night.
This is not Hill's first brush with the law. He was part of LSU's 2011 recruiting class but didn't get to LSU until a year later because of his arrest on charges of oral sexual battery.
Hill and another 18-year-old Redemptorist student, Avery Tate, were charged for pressuring a 14-year old girl into performing oral sex in the Redemptorist boys' locker room on Dec. 7, 2010, two months before signing day. He sat out the next year while resolving his legal issues.
He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile last January and accepted a six-month suspended sentence with supervised probation for two years. Then he signed with the Tigers in December of 2011 and enrolled in school in January 2012.
