It's depressing to see how far we've fallen off since 2010, and saying goodbye to Kobe ultimately after 17 years (if that happens). But I think this season wasn't depressing, it was kind of a tragic comedy.

How do you feel about the possibility of Lakers amnestying Kobe? I realize hes a lifelong Laker but is he worth paying 30million if hes not healthy next year. Perhaps the money they would spend in luxury tax doesn't seem like much compared to how much money Kobe generates in ticket and gear revenue if they keep him. I had a bunch of friends over for game 7 Lakers\Celtcs in 2010. After they won we celeberated, and I turned to my Laker friends and said,"That's the last one we are gonna see for Kobe and the Lakers for a looooong time." They disagreed, and felt Lakers would win 2011 or 2012. I could have easily been wrong about that, but I think for me, that's why this is easier because it was obvious to me that the team was about to get old and disband.

what's funny is i think we would've beat them with a healthy team. it would’ve been more of a blood bath, but I think we could've done it (at least if the officiating was somewhat fair....huge if).
