Damn I never knew about the Marey Carey thing till u posted this. I googled it and just read it...after thinking about it, even though I want to believe it cuz it's funny, women are always full of shit man.

Typical example of women BS'ing, I was fucking this girl back in November. She would bring me pizza in the middle of the night after I was done studying for med school exams, I'd hook up and eat then she'd leave. She asked for a commitment and I freaked out and stopped returning her calls. Now that I'm in a relationship again, turns out the girl knows my current gf and told a mutual friend that me and her were seriously dating and I cheated on her. Women like to 'poison the well' to destroy your reputation. This is common BS with girls.

Dwight's a cool guy. For a month, we like talked on the phone and he was always trying to give me prayers to get me out of porn and give me Bible verses to read. So then, I was going to go visit him when I was in Orlando, but I went over to this other guy's house instead, Chris Kirkpatrick from N'Sync. And then Dwight started calling, and calling, and calling me, because he knew I was with Chris Kirkpatrick, so eventually at 3 in the morning, Chris was like don't answer Dwight's calls. I get a text from Dwight at 3 in the morning - I'm outside Chris's house. I'm like oh my god, what do I do? I was like, I got Dwight here and I got Chris in the other room and I'm talking to them back and forth. So finally I had to just pull Dwight in the bathroom and tell him he needs to go home. I was like I'm really sorry, I really like you, but this isn't the time or place. When I pull him in the bathroom, he pulls his pants down, I was like whooa. Yeah, and so I ran and started screaming...

Dwight Howard's always been a very open Christian, and he's also had some public missteps in his love life. Nothing, however, quite compares to this story, which involves Howard, porn-star Mary Carey and former 'NSYNC'er Chris Kirkpatrick:

“Well if it wasn’t for the Chris thing at the time, I really liked Dwight and maybe I would have furthered this. But I was at the guy’s house I was dating so it was inappropriate. So he totally thought he totally offended me. So I saved — he and I used to talk on instant messenger, on AOL — so he was apologizing; ’sorry, that was out of character for me,’ blah blah blah. I saved all the instant messages and I’ve been putting them all in a book. So I’ve got a lot of evidence. I’ve got an evidence file.”

Wow. I can't believe you guys missed it. He said "HOPE" he gets the chance to make it up to you :lol

He could easily skip all the drama this offseason and say " I WILL MAKE IT UP TO YOU" that way he can focus on improving his game and prove his critics wrong, yet there he goes leaving another question mark througout the entire summer. He knows there's no other deal to be had since the Lakers offers the most money. WHat do you mean hope? its either you sign for more money or you walk to another team. There's no such thing as HOPE if you know you're going all in with L.A.

What chances? LA's biggest chance to redeem falls themselves falls on his shoulder, after 3 disappointing seasons while having one of the biggest payroll in the league, the Lakers need Dwight. He should just sign, shut up and train with Akeem and come back in his 2009 form. No one on that roster is going to make a bigger impact than him, but he's such a huge liability offensively whatever defensive value he brings to the table is diminished by his inability to post a decent move. I never thought he's this bad. Like really, DeAndre Jordan bad offensively, at least DJ is worth $10 million less.

But the HOPE part could be pointing towards the Front Office. He probably want's to see changes, both coaching and roster before he commits. If that's the case, then he's not that dumb afterall.

But really Let's be honest unless he takes less to join a contender he is not wininng a title. I know Many on here want to paint the Lakers future as dismal and it maybe next year ... but I doubt we are not back in to contention in a few seasons. If he really wants to winnow take a bit less and join the Warriors, Bulls or Mavs. Rox has some nice players and have better young talent than the Lakers, easily but they aren't winning a title with Harden as the 1 and Howard as the #2 either.

I think Dallas makes more sense if they can get a decent backcourt together to go with Dwight & Dirk (better coach, better fit) if winning a title matters most. Warriors have Steph and great shooting and Bulls have a great coach. But Lakers will probably be just as viable as Dallas in another season anyway. We shall see.

I like Harden, he went to Artesia IIRC ... local boy.
Im just telling you from a basketball perspective he fits better with Steph or Dirk ... why do I care where he goes (unless Boston) if he leaves L.A. Have I ever given you any indication that I hate the ROx or Harden?

I said teh same thing about Shaq in PHX and and in Cleveland. Guys that live in teh paint like Harden dont want a big with limited range clogging the lane. Pau if ever got his confidence back would be a much better fit for your team especially if Robinson develops as a stretch 4. But his defense is slightly above mediocre ... so I could see why they may not want to go that route again plus he makes too much. But Pau with McHale tutlage in the post would be scary and Pau and Harden would be a great passing combo.

I dont just look at trades/signing from a star perspective. That i why I predicted a 2nd round exit for this LAKERS team BEFORE all teh injuries ...with a WCF ceiling ...the peices never fit imho ....

The problem isnt Howard or Pau or payroll or even injuries to the surrounding cast. Its Kobe being a tired old shit bag who just had a major injury. As much as people shit on Kobe for being an egotistical rapist ballhog, anyone who aint trollin or hatin knows he is a proven 1A on a title winning team. You cant just replace that, even as LA, because players like him are so rare in the first place.

Even if Lakers keep Pau and lock up Dwight, they arent winning a title any time soon unless Kobe makes a stunning recovery and dantoni suddenly learns how to control a lockerroom PJ would have trouble managing.

McHale just cannot coach this team though. Harden has been used as the PG when that's not who he should be, even with Lin, but the way McHale uses him, it's like he's the only option. He also gave Harden too much free reign. I do think Pau would be a better fit with Harden if McHale is coaching, but if he's not then I want Dwight there.

Not always true. When Kobe was primarily a slasher, Shaq was exceptional at sealing his man (usually the other team's shot blocker), allowing Kobe a clear lane to the basket. The '01 series, I remember Kobe getting into the lane at will because of that. Duncan does the same for Parker and Manu.

I never agreed with the oft repeated idea that a big "clogs the lane" for the penetrators on his team. Good teams/coaches don't allow to that happen. They smartly use their bigs to open up the paint through seals and the like.

I agree neither one of those bigs can lead a team to a title in fact I would say at his age Tim has a better shot with the right pieces and good health. SO if Tim cant lead a team to a title and he is better than both of those guys ... what chance does Dwight have of leading or being led by Harden to one? I am not hating just looking at rosters ... I would choose Houston. Coaching both those guys suck tbh ...which is why Dallas would make more sense than either team ...Lakers just have the better city and Bird rights ...

Agreed. But look at what you said Good coaches ... is McHale or D'antoni a good coach? Shaq had no range but floor spacing was good because of the triangle ... Plus shaq drew double teams ...Dwight is doubled but to get steals they double late because his hands are suspect and they get steals. And we all know PJ was a great coach.

Im not saying it NEVER works but it is not always prudent to clog a lane when you have a palyer that excells at attacking the paint. You may not agree but on all levels when I have a excellent pentrating PG or wing I prefer having a Gasol type that can open the lane over a Dwight type that clogs it.
But of course if that is your personnell you have to adjust I just dont think McHale or D'antoni are teh coaches to make that adjustment tbh ... Rick C can.

DHo isnt leaving $30 mil on the table just because he wont win a title anyway so the speculation is pointless. Plus its terrible press for a superstar in his prime to change teams three times in two seasons, especially with all the controversial (read:retarded) shit hes said and done in that timespan. Hes quickly losing bargaining chips and its quite obvious hes a low iq player who wont age well.

Killakobe81

And I meant Marc Gasol not Pau above ... ^(but a healthy and confident Pau would work too I just have doubts he regains that confidence)

Right now if you factoring in salary, fit and all-around game Marc is better than both Dwight and Pau ... who woulda thunk the 2nd round trhow in would be arguably the best center (not named Duncan) in the NBA in 2013?

Just like Charlie Murphy is considered by many to be funnier than Eddie based off his turns on Chapelle and work on the Boondocks ...

Howard has no clue how to use his body in those types of subtle high iq ways. A shame and a waste of an amazing specimen really. Perhaps one day he will learn but I honestly doubt he has the brains or humbleness. Chances are scrubs like Baynes will continue getting in his head easily and he'll continue thinking fighting for position includes muay thai.

All of those dropped passes by Asik that Harden and Lin send his way would be dunks by Howard. They can all easily work together. Plus Dwight would have fun with this young team and own the city. Better fit than an aging Dirk in Dallas imo. The dubs are interesting though.

Yall can take him if he wants max money.
I get the Miami thing was special and Riles is a Don ...
But if Lebron, Wade and Bosh can take a little less to superfriend up how can Dwight ask for the max? Dirk took a little lessto stay in Dallas Duncan too to stay in SA. i know Cubes has screwed Dirk since the title but at least they rang before.

I Will say this right here, right now if we have to pay Dwight the max to get him to stay ...meaning that is the only reason he would choose us, not the legacy or any other reason ...I say let him walk or sign and trade for some picks or a 3-way for some talent ...I dont want him.

But the funniest part of his posts (I like Djohn btw) he got upset when he thought that I was implying his team was lessor than my crappy Lakers. Even though his team is also crap and all I said was let Dwight go one of the the "lessor Texas teams" ... meaning less than Spurs ...

But apparently I had to spell that out for him
:lol love the illusion that I think Dwight is the only option. Hell yeah I'd want him on the team, and that's where I think he'd wind up if he walked. But they have other options.

Howard in LA doesn't make sense to me, for his sake, tbh..

He should go to Houston, tbh..

Kemp's not gonna sign anywhere unless he gets offered max. With Jimmy and The Master at the helm, he'll probably be offered that in LA because there's no one else out there. Someone will be amnestyed, just don't know who yet.

Lebron actually got over it and lead a team to the title, All-Star-blocked-shot-notwithstanding... you can't win a ship as the alpha dog if you're a mental midget, IMO.

Doesn't matter. Lebron was the go-to guy when the shit hit the fan and he delivered every time. This wasn't Bosh or Wade saving his bacon. Dude stepped up to the plate. You could say before last season he was a mental midget, but not right now.

If you want to talk about allegedly great teams full of HoFs that didn't do squat, I have a couple of Lakers teams to talk about. :lol

Bosh was hurt for most of the conference semis (and conference finals, IIRC)... I'm not buying that.

Heat almost lost it all to the Celtics until Bosh came back and Steve Blake'd the team to victory.

Wake up America.

All of those dropped passes by Asik that Harden and Lin send his way would be dunks by Howard. They can all easily work together. Plus Dwight would have fun with this young team and own the city. Better fit than an aging Dirk in Dallas imo. The dubs are interesting though.

Nah, Golden State has almost $75 million committed salary next year, as no way Dick is turning down his player option for $11 million nor Biedrins his $9 million player option.

Too early to make that judgement imo. Dirk was seen as soft and a mental midget before 2011.

Only way d12 leaves is of he can somehow join Miami on a max, and we all know it ain't happening.

Laker fans, enjoy your next great big man. At least he's better than elden Campbell and vlade divac.

Also d12 ain't that bad, he can be neutralized on defense relatively easily when he's not surrounded by quick 3pt shooters, but which big man can't? He's not Hakeem, shaq, or Duncan on the blocks, but he is, still, by far, the best center in the league.

I do I just can't see us paying Higher than LeBron prices for what we get from Dwight. If LeBron can take less to win titles Dwight can and should too even if he walks to a better team than us or the Rox is be pissed but respect it. If he only cares about cash I respect that too but he can kick rocks

It only comes out that someone is a mental midget when their weaknesses are exposed and they face serious adversity. LBJ is the best player in the world, on arguably the best roster in the world, and has won the championship once in two tries, sure, but he quit on his team and sulked through a series when the Cavs' weaknesses were exposed and it was on him to overcome it. If Dwight goes to Houston, Dallas, or LAC and is in Lebron's position three years from now, I'm still going to call the dude a mental midget.
