I'm not so sure there has been any race willing to claim the Birdman. Andersen, Cherokee Parks and Robert Swift are unique cases who will probably be forced upon the Native American race, or gypsies.

He's right. Anderson is a fringe energy guy off the bench that gets way too much attention. People on the various sports talk shows are claiming he has transformed the Heat. No one would be spouting that nonsense if he wasn't white.

He's right. If he's black, he'd be another black guy that can jump high. That being said, I think Chris is rated just right. A journeyman playing on a small scale salary.

I think his contribs have been properly rated..he's been a big difference maker just because the Heats big men other than Bosh are such garbage..to get one who is just competent on both ends of the court in place of the Joel Anthony type scrubs has made a big difference for them

i actually buy the Birdman hype with the heat. He's the only big they have outside of bosh that can finish on a pick and roll. in previous years they were giving minutes to guys like joel anthony and dexter pittman, undersized defensive specialists with no hands. at least birdman has to be accounted for when he sets a pick, since he can get up there a little bit. hes also a better rim protector than anybody on that team

i think it's well deserved.

Birdman Birdman's hype is warranted, tbh..

Miami was lacking a competent energy guy for years, tbh..having a nice energy big aids the team in playing hard and boosting effort, which is important for a team that has a tendency to coast, tbh..

He's a much superior Joel Anthony, a big addition to a team that once relied on Anthony's energy, defense and pick&roll D..

I don't think race is the first thing people think of with Birdman, unlike with, say, Tyler Hansbrough. I think the tats and the hair are the first things people think of. If he's overhyped it isn't because he's white- it's because he looks like a circus sideshow, IMO.

I'm not a fan of Chris Andersen's but I love it when a championship team acquires one of these high energy tough guys that comes off the bench and gets the team\fans fired up. So with that said, Van Gundy is a faggot tbh

Master of Panic is Shaqtin like a fool again.

Birdman is no hype. His offensive rating is 125, defensive rating is 100, WS/48 is .207. He has a big impact on this team.
