Houston's late-game offense is painful to watch. Their last three plays were Harden isos which resulted in contested jump-shots which were not even close to going in. Really, Houston? Nice coaching... Makes me thankful that we have the Popinator.

What the fuck was up with that?? Durant didn't even look like he wanted to attack, just picked up his f'n dribble.

That is because Brooks didn't really even draw up the play. He wanted Durant to bail him out. Durant thought he had enough space to take the shot, but turns out he had a man right in his grill after he picked up the dribble. He had no choice but to pass out of the "play". This caught Jackson by surprise because Durant was supposed to be able to take a shot, and it forced Jackson into panic mode.

Brooks is an overrated coach in my book. He is just lucky to have Presti picking extremely talented players to cover up his coaching shortcomings. Give Pop the Thunder roster and you would have a completely different story. Brooks is the king of iso. Give this guy the ball and be ready in case he has to pass it. What a groundbreaking philosophy. Spoelstra at least seems to have some talent in drawing up plays. Hence why Miami beat the Thunder last year.

You underestimate how much a team can be hamstrung when they lose their starting point guard and they don't have a seasoned backup to take his place. The entire offense falls apart before it can even get started and get the ball into Durant's hand. Part of the problem is that Reggie is young and just doens't have the experience, the other is that we don't have someone to take over like Harden. Just a bad situation all around.

Also, as much as Harden crumbles when the opposing team gets its defense dedicated to stopping him, he's the best creator among the 3, tbh... When KD passes the ball in crunch time it's a bad sign...

But I would lay someoney on yall as a long shot best coach in the field best big and with all the injuries maybe best Pg Steph and Tony if healthy would be a fun.matchup.

Spurs are looking up, but we're only as good as the injuries we have or don't have... we're all hoping every game for no injuries and what not... I also said Memphis was not going to be an easy out, and so far it's happening... they would be a tough matchup for us if Clippers can't kick them out.

If CP3 can't take advantage of our greenhorn guard than I'd be surprised and a bit disappointed.

Talking about Memphis, tbh.... it took almost a full year, but Lionel Hollins finally figured out the Clippers' predictable offense and their defense has completely shut us down.... I'm like 90% sure Vinny will not make any adjustments of his own or start giving more minutes to productive players, so we're pretty much f:lolcked...

If the Clippers get their shit together and knock off Memphis in spite of Vinny, they should be able to beat a depleted OKC though....

I realize foresight is a tad bit rare in these here parts but we'll see in a couple years or not if it turns out to be true.

Impressive attempt at shit talk. :) See you in the West Finals. I can't fucking wait...

Law school does an amazing job of teaching you to be clever and tacit about insulting people. Neither can I, either we win and I can merciless make fun of ya'll for failing to beat us a second straight year and if we lose I can point out how we backdoor sweeped yall last year and that the only reason we lost was because our starting pg whose top 5 in the league is out. Win win.
