So what unproven rookie will think he's worth a ton of $$$$$$$$$$ because he beat up on some college kids?

Think back to JaMarcus Russell, hahahaha!!!!!!! How he hid the fact he couldn't play football remains a mystery to everyone.

Pay these rookies a particular amount due to what round they were drafted in. After two years then bring in the agents and talk worth. Who remembers Heath Schuler, Kijana Carter, J.J.Stokes and on and on and on of guys who never deserved the $$$$$$$$. Ryan Leaf? Then there's an Alfred Morris, Kurt Warner. Look at all those small school receivers who made it huge(Shannon Sharpe, Terrell Owens, Isacc Bruce to name a few)

A rookie needs to be thankful he made it to the NFL and take what's realistic since he hasn't played a down of NFL football. If he pans out then after two years ok pay the guy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The NFC West will be the division to watch in 2013. The Rams adding Austin/Bailey. The Superbowl Niners. Russell Wilson, Percy Harvin and The Beast. Hahahaha...now watch the Cards win it, nay!!!!! Who got the steal of the draft in RB Andre Ellington out of Clemson.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tebow needs to go to a team with an established starter, so there is no talk of him starting. Then use him in situations. Then again there is always the CFL.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Geno Smith is not an NFL QB as we will see. The Jets ....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Eddie Lacy doesn't appear to have that burst, curious about him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Both Robert Woods USC and Marquis Goodwin (Oly long jumper) out of Texas have some serious jets, now add C.J.Spiller, the Bills have some cats who can motor.
i don't think marquis goodwin thinks he deserves a lot of money, but he was one of my favorite college players and is going to be a great return specialist.
Obviously the later round guys can't do much but sign. It's those first rounders where we see the ...me-itist.
Just so you know....
Sometime next season Goodwin is going to have a great return, you will hear...."he has world class speed"....no he doesn't. He's fast, very fast but he is not a world class sprinter, he is a world class long jumper. World class is sub 10.10.
The new CBA took care of the rookie contract:
Andrew Luck, the top pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, received $22.1 million in guaranteed money for his first four seasons in the NFL.
Sam Bradford, the top pick in the 2010 NFL Draft (the last draft before the new collective bargaining agreement was in place) received $50 million in guaranteed money. Additionally, the top 8 players selected from that draft received more guaranteed money than Mr. Luck.
Obviously not, but that's the business side of it. No one wants to leave money on the table. However, the CBA limits teams from the amount of money they can sign a rookie to. It saves them from giving a player like JaMarcus Russel a ton of money as a rookie.
Come on man, we all know that. I'm saying we are still going to see rookies wanting it all despite the fact they have done.....0.
So you're saying that people will want to make more money regardless if they've performed or not?
Wow, that's fucking profound Avante.
I'd say you're proving one of my favorite points to make about old people, being old doesn't mean you're smart. If you were dumb to begin with, you're dumb now....you've just been that way longer than most.
