View Full Version : Do you drive an ugly car?

I'm not talking about driving an old beater because you're on a budget. I'm talking about some of the new-ish vehicles that are extremely ugly.

Examples:

Kia Soul

Fiat 500

Me and my girl constantly rag on those.. I drive the complete opposite, a Ford F-150 Lariat.

What I don't get is that not only do people have to choose a Kia Soul, they then have to choose the pea-puke green color.

That Mitsubishi is really ugly but the others are fine, hell at least they are new. I'd even drive that Flex in that exact color if I had like 10 kids lol!

My car is older, the last model year it was made, but it is very nice.

My sister in law drives a Veloster; it's okay looking and drives okay but it's pretty trippy just sitting in there like in some flashy space pod, absolutely no visibility though, which is what bugs me about my car when the top is up.

Oh and I rode in this dude's Hyundai Equus last weekend....WOW! The back seats recline with foot rests and remote controlled massagers, there was a refrigerator and mini-bar, 2 built in iPads, and the CIGAR lighters have giant crystal knobs! :lol

Edit--and I forgot to mention the Equus also has these screens that ride up over the windows that you can activate if you need a little privacy! In addition to the dark window tint. I think it makes the windows bulletproof too ;)

This image was taken just before I got rid of the stock hood... I took out the intake inserts to be sent off for wrapping. The stock hood got fucked up with some chemicals as you can probably tell.

This is my new hood.. Real Carbon fiber hood, with the wrapped intake inserts installed (you can tell they are wrapped because they dont match the true carbon fiber hood).

It may be a Pontiac but its the last true muscle car they built... Has the same engine as the C6 corvette (LS2 6.0 V8) and with the mods I have, I eat new Camaro's and stock 'vettes for breakfast.... in a 4-door :lol

You get the Nissan NV (envy lol and yes I tried to find a good pic so look at theEDIT: kayaks not surfboards lmao ). Tbh I like that Nissan van in a utilitarian kind of way and the Ford Transit looks even worse FWIW. Lots of Nissan ppl here, or 3 including me anyway. I have an 06 stock 350Z 6 speed. Drives great but tbh the blind spots and being low to the ground is a pretty terrible combination for a daily driver in Texas where there are jacked up trucks and drivers everywhere

Anyway that Nissan behemoth is pretty much a cheaper, wider, but thirstier Suburban and will replace an ancient 90's Nissan Quest

I've always liked the early Rancheros better than the El Camino. But, then I'm not a huge muscle car fan.

The Rancheros were first and were kind of ridiculed for their looks with the fins and such. Chevy made improvements on the Ranchero (bigger bed, better engine) and are widely considered the better vehicle of the two, but, cosmetically, it's really subjective. I will, more times than not, go with power and speed over style.

They were mostly mid to high 20s if you wanted one that had low mileage with a clean Carfax. There were a couple of red ones that were in the low 20s/high teens(which is closer to what I was willing to pay) but I don't really care for red cars. I was being pretty picky too as I had a good car and wasn't really willing to settle for anything on a trade in that was below average.

I drive a fiat 500 pop, wife drives a VW Passat SEL.

I got rid of my Ford Expedition and boat. When I was driving 50 miles a day for work I decided to go get a car that didn't cost over 15K and as close to 40MPG as possible. That lead me to the FIAT.

Can't complain, it gets me there, is cheap to drive, is fairly unique and was cheap to buy, but I kind of miss having a more substantial vehicle. I am considering a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon as my next purchase...

Niggas steal Hondas for the parts. They were SI seats which went for like 150-200 each at the time. The instrument panel was SI too which was going for 100+. The carbon fiber hood, fog lights, etc. Even the climate control, theyll sell that shit. Its ridiculous tbh.
