Those 1st round predictions were turrible but I think the 2nd round predictions are better

Honestly wouldn't shock me if the Thunder pulled it out tbh. Zbo and Gastrong can only carry you so far offensively, and the Thunder have enough bigman depth to tire them out.

Wow, I know Methlahoma looked like shit last round, but they have by far the best player in the conference and a solid supporting cast behind him. I think Memphis will win that series but it wouldn't surprise me much if the Sonics pull it out either, even in the absence of Lin this round.

Some spare on ESPN.com picked the Warriors to beat the Spurs. Just one person. Every other expert picked the Spurs. I think for the Grizzlies-Thunder series, two people picked OKC.

Predictions always look better before the outcome is known.

Zach is back ... Plus Conley and Bayless can turn the offense on when needed too . I mean they are getting guarded by Mr 0.4

funny if you read the espn headliners site about the first round games, the spurs-lakers series is exclusively about the lakers :lol

I'm picking Dem Grizz too, but Bayless shouldn't be depended on as your only consistent perimeter bench presence.

I'll admit it's a difficult series to predict. Perk is ideal to guard ZBo. You kill ZBo's offense and rebounding and the Grizz look offensively mediocre again. Sefolosha can also check Conley.

I don't think neither Allen or Prince can guard Durant, because you literally cannot touch KD without a whistle.

But OKC will need help scoring. Fish and Martin will need to be much more consistent than they were in round 1.

i can actually see zbo dominating the methhead team

perkins is mentally weak and easy to get into his head that he gives away fouls

It will only be good if they are right

I'd give a slight edge to the Griz but I think this one will got the distance.

Yep, at least 6 games, most likely a 7 games series. Memphis might win it if it goes 6, but i like OKC chance at home if it goes 7. I'd give the Thunder a slight edge overall, they might be one superstar down, but Durant is still the best basketball player on the planet outside LeBron.

That's because of ESPN LA. There's no ESPN SA.

I'm not writing off the Thunder in this series. I think the Grizzlies can win this series, but I wouldn't be shocked if the Thunder won this series either.

Can't wait to see that hothead Porkins take a shot at Randolph and/or Gasol and get kickeds out of the game.

:lol @ whoever Ibaka guards; they're going to fill up

And the Grizz have the tools to shutdown everyone but Durant out. He'll get his contested shots and they'll be happy with it but they won't let let anyone else burn them.

I say Grizz in 6 but only because since OKC has homecourt advantage otherwise I would have said Grizz in 5.

How the fuck would Grizz win this shit in 5 ? They wont win 2 out of 3 in OKC, no way. And you call such guy an expert.

I haven't predicted anything of the sort.

Instead, I predict (though experimental, empirical understanding) that the Miami Heat will win the ring. Those who do not win the ring will outnumber those who do.

i guess when you get paid 6-7 figures a year just for writing some shits, you will have the luxury to spend the majority of your time & money in hawaii or maldives, so you don't have much time left to watch basketball imho. yet they continue to get paid big $ because people really appreciate their shitty takes
