Such an amazing win! Timvp you better give Diaw an A+ for his switch D on Curry. That was some very impressive stuff that helped get us the win. Danny Green as well. Curry who? Curry went 6-14 on 3, while Green was 6-9. Great night for Green, who had some really impressive defensive plays down the stretch as well. So pumped about how this team competed tonight!! :tu

Good compare. I take the PHX game bc it involve Shaq, Nash, and Timmy hitting a 3 pointer. Close though, given the comeback here, and the likely impact this will have on the psyche of this young Warrior team.

That was the most amazing playoff game I have ever seen. Huge comeback. So many clutch shots. It had it all. I'm still stunned that the Spurs were able to overcome Curry's performance. You don't see a lot of teams overcome a superstar going nuclear like Curry did in the third quarter. Instant classic.

Crazy game! Right up there with the Memorial Day Miracle. David talked about it in one of those old NBA clips. Something like on our playoff run there was that defining moment, that defining game, that propelled them. When Sean hit that shot, they new it was their time. Hopefully this game will have a similar effect.

Another epic tale was added to Spurs playoff lore. A true instant classic.

Tim Duncan flu game. The streak extends to 30. Double OT. Alternating runs and lead changes through the late 4th through double OT. Huge comeback that started late in the 4th quarter - a truly rare occurrence. Manu game winner.

What more could you want? 'Twas a story for the ages.

Edit: The only thing that could have made it better would be if Duncan made the game winning shot after coming out of the locker room, probably after vomiting his guts out, and checked into the game for the last play of OT. I seriously thought they might run that play through him, but I guess he was just a decoy. :lol

God, when Manu shot that idiotic 25 footer I instantly got the same feeling as when he fouled Dirk. I figured the game was over the second he released that shot; just knew Golden State was going to destroy the Spurs for that mistake, and they did.

:lol:lmao Was she fucking annoying, OR WHAT!!

After that horrible three all I wanted was to hear that scream one more time. Even better that it was Manu who gave her multiples.

Seriously the craziest game I have ever seen the Spurs play. I mean no one comes back from 16 down with 4 minutes left. For the Spurs to turn that into a Warriors' Moral Victory was fucking mindblowing!

Crazy game! Right up there with the Memorial Day Miracle. David talked about it in one of those old NBA clips. Something like on our playoff run there was that defining moment, that defining game, that propelled them. When Sean hit that shot, they new it was their time. Hopefully this game will have a similar effect.

what a strange game. i started drinking too much before the game, so i was a bit confused and pissed to put it lightly. i just hated the thought of losing to the Warriors in this game, especially with how cocky Mark Jackson and Stephen Curry act all the time.

it didn't help that the spurs were playing as loopy as I was feeling. but I had a feeling things would sort themselves out. i even posted this...

i'm sure CoM will pull out some Frank Lutz-esque advanced metrics. least we'll be able to resign him at bargain rates. still, i should remain positive, i feel a run coming on.
I had a feeling with Klay going out, Spurs were finally going to pull their heads out of their asses.

after the game, my mom sends me a text with some sad news, so I haven't really been able to enjoy this. still, i enjoy seeing us pulling it out and some of the exhilaration.

we still got a long road ahead of us. it's a war of attrition, but I think the Spurs understand this better than anyone.

Totally agree. I was actually at the AT&T Center when he fouled Dirk sitting in front of an extremely loud non-Spurs fan (she was rooting for the Mavs but knew none of the players names, when someone made a shot she'd be like "Yeah you go #31!" and so on). When Manu made the 3, I turned around and puffed my jersey in her face and was like "That's right, bitch!" And then the foul happened. Longest walk to my car ever. When Manu chucked up that shot I immediately thought "God damn it he did it again" and was just like, "Fucking Manu. . ." until the end.

Worst thing was, I was texting my best friend during the whole game and he has Duncan's back the way I have Manu's...and I was actually preparing a yeah yeah yeah I know, Manu sucks, text to send him right before he made the shot.

The focus of the name for this game shouldn't be on the last second shot. Maybe if that had happened as time expired...but there was over a second left.

The focus should be the 18-2 run to end the fourth and force overtime. That run is what makes this game so special.

That game was Epic. Down by 16, 4 minutes left, and Duncan is in the locker room with the flu. I am still stunned that they even tied it up, much less won the game in the second OT. Manu throws up a Gary Neal like quick 3 and misses with only seconds left. GS takes the lead with 4 seconds left and a foul to give. Spurs win on a Manu dagger 3. Good play call on Pop's part, but the Warriors will be haunted by that play. Mark Jackson will also be haunted.

The shot by DG to tie it I think will be huge for his confidence. Hopefully it carries over. Spurs need their "others" to step up big time. DG has been a question mark in terms of how much we can rely on him in the playoffs in crunch time. Maybe this shot helps him turn the corner. I have a feeling he goes off from 3 next game.

Looking forward to seeing Kawhi guard Curry also. His length bothered him I think. But it takes a team to contain Curry and we got to find a way to not get ass raped by him on pick n rolls. Splitter's foot speed would help.

I give props to CJ. Guy was left on an island trying to guard Curry in the 3rd and was getting torched, but he fought hard.

It will be interesting to see how well GS plays in a tighter game. They were up by quite a bit most of the game and IMO quite a few of their shots were falling because they were playing with a nice cushion the whole game. They were way to comfortable, and everyone for them especially Curry was a beneficiary of that offensively. Spurs need to come out the gate playing great and immediately put pressure on them and not let them play like they're in a park.
