No news yet from what I can tell. Hoping he mans up and plays tonight. He's much needed tbh.

Jeff McDonald tweeted that Splitter is a game-time decision, and I saw numerous other tweets reiterating this (not sure how credible they are, though).

Pop said he was a game time decision for today. Same as game 1, so hopefully the 2 days were enough to get him ready for tonight. :tu

Don't bank on it. Splitter has always been softer than a freshly shaved pussy.

Baynes needs to be out there if Splitter is still out,Hell T-mac as well,we could use some length on Curry

Mix it up a bit...

Pop won't play aron...we all know this, wether we want to admit it or not. Nothing upsets me more, than watching him sub in Blair and Bonner together...in the playoffs! The spurs are outsized as it is(usually)...why let a 7' giant sit on the pine, when he could be used. He would only be needed for 5-7 min a half..if that, even. It's pops one major flaw...his stubbornness, towards "his guys".. aron could kick some ass against this gs team. I said it the other day, I'll say it again, if the spurs continue to try and play small ball, they'll end up losing this series. Gs have better guards...spurs have more size..why don't we try to use some of that size better, instead of playing their game?

Baynes was a good counter for Howard in Splitter's absence. I think the jury is still out on how he would match up against GS's bigs. We just haven't seen much of him.

It sounds insane but I wouldn't be against some Baynes experimentation when Bogut is in and if Splitter either doesn't go or is playing soft

As long as DeJuan doesn't see a second on the floor, I wouldn't be that worried about the chances for a Spurs W tonight.

But that was a mild ankle sprain by all accounts and missing two PLAYOFF games is inexcusable IMO, and I love Tiago. He's not doing himself any favors financially tbh.

Given their olympic team history, I suspect Bogut would take advantage of any playing time for Baynes. He has the NBA experience and Baynes is rookie.

what we wait for. Playoff! gotta play Splitter. no need to save energy

Splitter plays against GS, a team we really don't need him for. He tweaks his ankle, we advance, and he has to miss time against Memphis.

No thanks.

Pop just said Tiago and Duncan good to go.

Diaw starting however.

Good to hear. I have no problem with Diaw starting. It's better match up wise anyway. Having Splitter so they can keep a seven footer on the floor at all times and keep Blair on the bench is what I'm more concerned with.

Good news. :tu Hopefully that means a 3 man big rotation with Duncan, Diaw, Splitter. I'm fine with Bonner playing 5-10 mins and hopefully Blair stays glued to the bench.

These two posts make me wonder why I come to this site. This and everything I read from El Nono...

A splitter with a tender ankle?

Softer than a pillow. Id rather he came back with confidence.
