i'm more happy with how we ended this game than how we ended game 1. if we play the whole game like we did in the 2nd half we win this series easily. stop fukin leaving shooters open. it's easy. thompson and curry didn't do shit in the 2nd half. we shut them down. just play the whole game like this. bonner needs to stop leaving his assignments open too and parker needs to actually try to make layups instead of playing for fouls.

as funny as it sounds, I was liking the way this game was flowing more than game one. Not only was Curry hot but everyone was in game 1. Everyone stop cliff jumping and be practical for a second. What can home court do for these guys that hasnt already happened? It's not as if they were playing mediocre and we just blew a game, they've been shooting as if they were the home team for both games! Worst case scenario, they continue to shoot like this and hopefully we can step our game up and steal one. But being at home isn't going to make them play much better because they simply can't. Yes, it could make our role players nervous and what not, but I think we'll be ok. Hopefully we can steal one or perhaps two if everything goes absolutely right (though I doubt it) but everyone calm the fuck down

True, I didn't say otherwise, I just feel like a better shooter ;), and feel like a lot of the Spurs players are darn near incompetent when it comes to shooting. I didn't say that I could step out there and shooter better than them in a playoff type of game. But then again I don't think I would do any worse with the same open looks some of the Spurs players get at times. That doesn't mean shit though like you said, you gotta do it in this kind of environment which isn't easy.

Good game Spurs! Not enough gas this time though, almost a 2 game miracle. We dug ourselves in a hole deeper than game 1. Had a decent run and cut a 20 point lead to 6, there was just not enough time. Go strong from the start, the first half of game 3 might determine if we've adjusted to GSW offense, and it might also be the clincher to the series.

its that lack of seriousness that people have for an up and coming team, the spurs commited the same mistake against Memphis a few years ago. Its harder when a team has no history because you cant trust that their presence there is legit, or that they will pose a threat

Strategy or not. The spurs just dont have the answer to stop the warriors. To much 3 pt shooting and too much athleticism. The closest team that could match up isnt even 100% right now, with OKC being hurt either GSW or Memphis has a huge advantage to advance right now

Crazy to think that Thompson was 8-9 on 3's and the Spurs only lost by 9. If he misses 1 or 2 of those, and guys like Kawhi or Danny Green make at least 1 more three, we have ourselves a tie game in the 4th...

That 6 point swing to end the third was just MURDER for morale, too where we missed two wide open threes and Klay made that 3 buzzer beater to stretch the lead to 11.

I'm pissed off that the Spurs kept leaving him so wide open to double on another player. Apparently the Spurs still think we are playing the Lakers out there.

So will the Warriors winning in 7 still be as "moronic" as you claimed last year that OKC winning in 6 was disrespectful to the Spurs? :lol

So, you're taking joy in that I want the Spurs to win and just defending them but they lost tonight? Ok...

:lol no, but I'm inclined to blame you for starting that shitty thread should the Spurs lose to the Warriors in the series since OKC in 6 ended up happening last year.

Fair enough. If I can take shit from Dubs fans, which I will on Sunday in Game 4, I can take shit from the shit talkers here, lol.

I don't know, but I have the feeling the Spurs will still win in this series..it is not just I am a Spurs fan..I just know how good the Spurs team is...And GS is not a team like OKC before who has Durant and Westbrook...

The GSW team plays differently, but the Spurs can adjust to any team.. Pop will figure it out..I hope soon.

Shit we missed a ton of wide open shots and FTs that would have more than made the difference.

It's pretty simple.

You can't shoot 24% from 3 pt and 39% FG and win playoff games.

You can make a big fuss about a lot of little things but when it comes right down to it; you have to put the Biscuit in the Basket.

The Spurs have been one of the best shooting teams in the league all year, especially from 3pt land.

I said it last month that if the Spurs shoot 40% or more from 3pt land they are basically unbeatable. I stand by that.

If you shoot 24% and 39% respectively you are going to lose. Period.

So talk about how to get better looks. But Bottom line.......Make some Effing shots just like you have done all year.

I have No reason to believe that the Spurs will have 4 bad shooting games regardless of GSW defense. 80+ games tell me that.

Spurs should win Game 3. Thompson's historical three point shooting is what got them the win for the most part. I don't expect Thompson to shoot career high again.

You're not counting in choke factor and mental weakness. Those two things are 90% of our problem right now. If the guys would just find their nuts, everything else would fall in line.

Basketball is 90% mental and the other half is physical.

Call me CRAZY... but wasn't the officiating in game 2 just outlandishly ATROCIOUS?! For BOTH squads?!

I saw Manu and T-Parks go in for drives, get knocked to the floor and NOTHING was called. There was a number of probably anticipated fouls on BOTH ends.

Klay T and Staph Infection won't have Light's OUT games again because Kawai and D Green are great perimeter defenders. Pop will think something up as he always does, it's likely Small ball to counter the track race the Warriors are trying to create. The 2013 GSW are nothing more than the 2007 PHX suns with a more versatile shooting guard.
