i care about avis (not much about sigs though, most sigs just consist of semi-bath bitches & stuffs disgusting me as hell, so i've turned off the sig option since day 1 tbh) and i often had a hard time figuring out who is who w/o avatars tbh. sometimes you remember people for their avatars rather than their names imho
