Feel free to bump if I'm wrong. Have faith in CIA Pop, Timmy, Tony, and Manu, though. This is the group of fellows that won us game 7 in New Orleans in the Western Conference Semifinals a few years ago.

I can actually see them using their veteran poise to win Game 3 on the road. We know guys like TP, TD, and Manu arent fazed by wild crowds on the road, they've seen it all. It's guys like Green and Neal that we have to worry about...

We'll win game 3, we won't have that shitty FT performance and we will hit 3's or at least our open shots.

Yeah, and we got crushed by the Lakers 4-1 in the WCF, but just take the example and run with it. Hope is all we've got!

I think our defense will play better game 3 and it'll be a lot closer, we have to hit our shots..

We actually played somewhat acceptable defense back then..

Given how well they played on the road I don't see them playing much better. More likely to play worse.

They absolutely have a shot. Curry and Thompson are killing the Spurs. Everyone else is contributing enough just to counter the Spurs bench. Minus the abysmal second quarter in Game 2, the Spurs largely stayed competitive with the Warriors and the third quarter showed that Curry and Thompson are both quite mortal. Thompson scored only five second half points, and the Spurs rallied again from a near-20 point deficit. The only difference this time was that offensively they couldn't sustain what the defense was providing. Twice now Curry and Thompson have shot the Warriors to huge leads, partially thanks to Curry being unstoppable but also because the Spurs defenders have been slacking. Twice now the Spurs have climbed out of those deficits. One ended in a victory, the other did not. Simple as that. If the Spurs put together 48 minutes of consistent basketball, which they've yet to do this series, winning in Oracle becomes as simple as out-executing the younger team. Oracle will be loud, and it will only take a few big shots from Curry to get it there. That doesn't make it impossible.

Young teams with Young Superstars, always hurt the Spurs. When our Superstars were young, we did the same to other teams.

I keep expecting the Warriors to show their inexperience but they've stayed very poised and calm. And their confidence will skyrocket in Oakland, but the Spurs still have a chance. 1-1 isn't a lost series.

The Spurs have to play like the veteran team. So far they haven't.

Ironically, sometimes a jumpshooting team feels more pressure at home than on the road.

We'll see on Friday.

It's funny how everyone is doubting because we played 2 shitty quarters tonight on D that was self inflicted with double teams and leaving them wide open. We missed shots, we were not hot tonight, we'll make our shots, we'll hit our 3's and FT's we're taking game 3.

Hopefully Splitter feel closer to 100% and Pop will throw him back in the starting five next to Duncan.

I have faith they will too! I'm expecting a sense of urgency from this team for an entire 48 minutes!

Shit. Why not? I thought the comeback was on again tonight. That would have been two games in a row that the spurs played poorly and the warriors were excellent, and they still lost. I think the spurs will play better on the road. Play defense like they did in the second half. Thompson had 5 points in the second half, and Curry wasn't much better. Jarrett made some contested jumpers though. Parker needs to get off early, and him and Manu need to make their damn layups. Also making some open threes might be nice.

TheGoldStandard

Hitting only 5 3's and shooting poorly from the FT line will cause you to lose most nights. We almost pulled tonight out only scored 17 in the 4th. We'll take game 3 and GS will be rattled losing at home.

I know it will sound like a debbie downer, but I actually expect them to ride on the high note from Game 2 and that crowd will be noisy, while the Spurs are still trying to figure out if Blair, Bonner or Diaw should be getting minutes. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we get savagely beat down. Game 4, I think, might be the game to either change the series or where the Spurs fold.

We still are not playing well. Too much staring at Tim and Tony on offense.

We got a good start, we played better D coupled with them shooting poorly. And we hung tough through the rough patches. We gotta play better.

so lets move the Frkn ball around efficiently and burn them back door when they overplay the lanes... quick picks would help so they don't get good position way ahead of the PnR.

With our great experience and decent job lately in closing teams out in elimination games...

I guarantee a win in Game 6. Our Spurs win the series 4-2.

Not sure if it will be a blowout, but the Spurs won't go out like this. Timmy, Tony, and Manu will come out hungry and cement their legacies.

Timmy wants this. Timmy wins Finals MVP, IMO.
