You gotta start Manu - Green - Leonard - Diaw - Splitter. 6'6, 6'6', 6'7 ,6'8, 6'11

For the Bench, have Tony for the 1-2, T-Mac for the 3-4, and Duncan for the 5 spot

The best thing for the spurs against a team that attacks mismatches every play like Golden State is to play 5 guys that are all as close to the same quickness, length, strength as possible.

If you have a immobile big like Duncan, Curry / Thompson will mismatch you on pick and rolls all day.

If you have a small guard like Parker, Thompson / Barnes will mismatch you with post-ups all day.

With Manu, Green, Leonard, you switch all perimeter screens and none of them can be posted.
With Diaw and Splitter, both can move to cover all pick and rolls to get out on Curry's shot. Together, they will hold the boards well, and they both are great mobile bigs on offense who can roll, pass, motion offense.

Parker can come in against Jack who he can actually guard (or at least won't be posted up on or be on Curry). He'll also be fresh and can provide a bigger scoring spark with energy than Manu.

Manu in the starting lineup will utilize Leonard better.

The theory makes sense. Switch Duncan for splitter and Tony for manu and pop might actually do it.

No way Pop will bench Tony and Timmy

GS plays their starters close to 40 minutes a game, it doesn´t care which lineup "starts" because no player on the Spurs other than Leonard can play 40 mins.

Can't even consider a line up like that till we find out if Diaw is injured. If he plays limited minutes in game 3, we know something is up.

Get Bonner's ass off the starting list and replace with Diaw

Wow, and I get criticized for suggesting the Spurs start the guys who started for most of the season??

I didn't read anything aside from the OP but I just wanted to say that this would be utter lunacy. Play your best players for as long as you can. Screw match ups and start imposing your own game. Let them adjust.

LOL Parker with 30 and Duncan with 23 tonight, but they could come off the bench? :lol

Parker completely destroys the Warriors in the first half.

Yeah. Let's bring that guy (our best player) off the bench. Kay.

Make THEM adjust. Spurs have to play good D, hit open shots, limit turnovers. Easy stuff.
