This may sound stupid w/ the amount of Taqueria's in San Antonio, but I said fuck the BS and went to Chacho's for some breakfast tacos instead, and that shit was off the chain.

Tacos Ricos located at 8025 Bandera Road failed their latest inspection with 31 demerits. Their violations included:

•Food temperatures were a problem here as well. Raw eggs at 62 degrees.

•Cooked sausage was not being kept hot enough. It was at 103.

•They received demerits for improper food handling.

•The staff was cleaning tables with dry towels instead of ones soaked in a sanitizing solution.

I would say anything. I've just had their tacos and the huevos rancheros but everything looks good that comes out of the kitchen. Their tortillas are the best. Its not fancy. Its basically a small house that only takes cash. And be prepared to wait for a table. I like that they have a sign that states NO MICROWAVES USED. Everything is house made.

Rita's on Bandera Rd between Seneca and Wurzbach. The usual breakfast tacos are great. Try the picadillo taco.

There's a Rita's (not affiliated) farther down Bandera inside Loop 410 near Gen. McMullen.. they will nickel and dime for shit like sodas (hate can restaurants) and chips, but their breakfast tacos are the shit and they hook you up.
