When Spurs collapsed with that terrible lineup to start the 4th it looked very grim, but they responded strongly and showed the kind of character they'll need to go anywhere. Really good signs from this game.

Still the series has a long way to go and I woun\ldn't be surprised to see it go to 7.

These two teams are like a cobra and a ferret - totally mismatched but both deadly to each other if they take control of the game.

I'm not usually one to say I told you so, but I told you so. GSW couldn't possibly play better than they did the first two games, so going home wouldn't give them that much of an advantage. We are the better team, idk why everyone was acting like we were the 6 seed and the team full of playoff first timersno, popovich need to tell players to stop leaving green and curry. no matter what, don't give up an open 3. how many blocks does green have on curry this series? and wtf is up with leonard's free throw shooting this game?

Green gets the game ball. He played excellent defense on Curry all game. It's no fluke that Curry has shot like 2-20 or whatever it is against Green. :lol

will say this again. keys to the game.

Spurs started big. D was fantastic . Total team effort.

Tony, Tim and finally manu stepped. Made huge plays.

Less of neal and Bonner.

Agreed.

My first post in this game I said we needed huge games from Timmy (check), TP (check), Leonard (check), one of SPlitter/Diaw (Diaw check) and something from one of Manu/Green Neal (Manu had 12 in the second half). And then of course the D was huge.

GO SPURS GO!!! :flag:

Obstructed view called it tho. even tho splitter sucked huge balls he somehow still manages to make this team defensively better

Splitter had two epically bad turnovers because he got terrible passes that put him in a bad position. Credit the Warriors for closing quickly. Splitter had a couple of pick and rolls where he didn't come all the way up that resulted in open shots for the Warriors. When he was pulled and came back, he did a much better job.

Splitter makes them offensively better as well. Mark Jackson has to run a different lineup to counter it, which is beyond huge.

Splitter is a presense with length and feet movement. He great at rotating and helping out.

GS backcourt constantly scrambling as a result.

On offense he sets the best picks. The spurs need to expose GS defense when he rolling to basket or when Landry is on him through the post.

Chocked with 2 TO's and deservingly got benched . will be better for next game

lmao, what is this bullshit? 80% Warriors highlights until they show Curry turn his ankle, then Spurs get 1 highlight after that like the ankle turn caused the Warriors to lose when they were already down big at that point.

ESPN with the fail biased highlights again.

diaw is a beast in the post. he was killing this game. i can live with landry getting 14 if that takes away from the 3 point line. look, curry/thompson want to shoot 3s. that's all they want to do. if u take the 3 point shot from them, it's like they forget it's legal to shoot midrange.

something else, i seriously didn't know klay thompson's dad is mychal thompson. when magic said, "i used to play with his dad" it clicked and i thought, "no way his dad is mychal thompson". how did i not know this?

Then shouldn't that mean at least give TMAC 1 to 3 minutes to give the kid a breather?

I loved that, especially when he missed that first free throw late in the game. Then they both shared a laugh at the end of the game. I hope it loosened KL for the next game.

personally i agree with Kawhi being out there around 40 mpg, we really need what he provides. unfortunately, the tradeoff with that can be a jumper/free throws that lack legs sometimes. It could also be mental and he could just be in a slump, or even a combination of the factors. You could see after he hit that three in the corner that he really hesitated at first, but was really excited to see it drop

haha, that's what i'm thinking. he stopped leaving them wide open for 3's starting in the 2nd half of last game and we've been dominating ever since. klay thompson and curry aren't as good as espn are making them out to be. if they were this bad, the warriors wouldn't be a 6th seed. magic johnson is fake. this mf will say something and when he looks like the ass he is, he tries to roll with what's hot at the moment to take away from his previous statements. no mr earvin, tell us how this is the best shooting backcourt in the history of the game.

Can't tell you the weight that was lifted off me when I saw Splitter was starting. He didn't play particularly well, but he made everyone else so much better. Now just wait until the Spurs get their shooting rhythm back. Curry looks so worn out that I don't think he can save them for even a single game. Spurs in 5.

Night, everyone. I'll finally get some sleep.

Stat Check
By Elias Sports Bureau

Tony Parker scored 32 points and Tim Duncan added 23 as the Spurs took measure of the Warriors, 102-92, in Oakland in Game 3 of their second-round series. It was the 158th playoff game that the two longtime stars have played together, but it was their highest combined point total in their last 37 playoff games together, since they scored 56 points in a game against the Mavericks on April 28, 2009.
