Parker with a left calf injury. Not sure how serious it is, but Tony didn't look too disappointed so hopefully it's nothing.

He had some heat on it during the 4th but he was healthy enough to go back in the game. Again, possibly an indication that it's not too serious.

Left calf, and Tony said it was a "new injury" that happened when someone kicked him tonight.

Calf bruise won't hurt his game for a few mins at a time, but it could diminish his agility the longer he plays if it lingers enough to lead into game 4. I hope it's not a big deal though, we badly need Tony on both ends of the floor this series.

Tony did look awful for the second half. Not sure if he was just tired or if he was hurt at all.

EDIT: "Awful" is not really the right word, but he only made three of his last 13 shots. Something was off. Pop played him A TON in the first half, though, and he seemed gassed.

Perhaps not, but he only made three of his last 13 shot attempts, I believe. Not exactly stellar numbers. He settled for a lot of jumpers, too.

Yeah neither Tony nor Steph's "injuries" looked too serious, but for what it's worth Curry's ankle sprain looked worse. Or at least his reaction to it (hobbling on the floor) suggests as much.

GSW fans have more to sweat about with Curry's ankle giving out like that.

He's probably fine. Those little turns hurt like shit for a while, though.

That said, the Spurs did a GREAT job of chasing him around where he was having to cut hard to get the ball. Parker hit the deck a few times chasing him, but it was definitely worth the work. Get him thinking about that ankle in game 4 and he's less likely to hit his shots.

Tony on his injury: "Uh i dont know right now we'll see I'll do treatment all night long I got kicked pretty bad I don't know if it was Bogut or Jack but right now it's a good one it's pretty big we'll see how I feel tomorrow i have no choice I'm going to play on Sunday it's a quick turnaround and I'll just try to do my best to do the treatment and be ready by 12:30"

That quote is verbatim per his post game.

In post game conference TP said his calf hurt pretty good but that he'd get treatment all night and be ready to go Sunday.

Hopefully it doesn't linger.

Curry's injury will really determine how much a less than 90% Tony hurts the Spurs.

Bruise hurts like crazy but if given the choice with a basketball game to play in a day and a half I'd take the calf bruise from a kick over a sprained ankle. If Curry doesn't have change of direction cut ability he becomes an easy guard. That also affects the lift on his long range shot. Curry's ankle is huge for game 4 as the other shooter isn't at a level to take a series over as the lone gun.

A calf contusion would require ICE for the 1st 48. Probably an Anti-Inflam, maybe an early morning PT session to make sure the muscles are aligned and then more ICE. Sunday, we should see. They didn't say what Grade the injury was but let's hope it's just Grade 1. Something like this is a pain tolerance issue. We don't want to see Tony try to overcompensate and wreck something else. We need for him to be as balanced as possible.

I don't remember the play, but wonder if it was dirty. that would be hilarious and typically hypocritical from Mark Jackson. least their PG has an injury, and tbh, I think his much worse.

Looking at film, Parker says Bogut is the one who kicked him. Knows it wasn't intentional.

Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
(http://twitter.com/JMcDonald_SAEN)Parker said no X-rays on his calf. Docs confident it's only a bruise, albeit a nasty one.

His sprain didn't look that bad to me. Just looked more like a little tweak. He hobbled around a little in between plays, but seemed like he was 90-95% during them.

Guy def won't be missing any games. Especially not with Mark Jackson slave driving his best players for 48 minutes every game, completely negating their youth advantage the longer the playoffs go on.

Bad news, thought everyone was just getting healthy. Still can't believe the Spurs are stuck with the every other day schedule again. Parker is pretty much the engine of the team now, now without him fully attacking, the Spurs will be in deep trouble.

TheGoldStandard

Spus won't be in trouble, he'll play through it, the biggest issue will be when he sits but when he gets into the flow of the game it'll be fine.

Funny how the Curry situation is all about drama. TP and the Spurs just go about their business. Curry and GS saying he's a game time decision and not being sure he can play. TP saying he'll play regardless off the bat. I bet you ten cents that Curry's situation is less problematic than TP's. Curry with the hero goodies.
