It was another easy win in the postseason for the Spurs. As the Spurs get ready for the Western Conference Finals, the next two games should be easy enough. No big deal tonight, no big surprises, no shockers, no upsets, no sports writer storylines on ESPN.com. Just a routine victory for the Spurs against an average junior varsity team.

So what now, sports writers and media? What about your bullshit underdog team storyline now? :lol How about Curry and Thompson combining for 12-for-37 from the field? What about that whole being a superstar in front of a pumped up home crowd? Guess making jump shots like it's a high school basketball game doesn't work in the NBA, does it? This is why it's important for a team to have basketball intelligence. But a bunch of ball hog jump shooters who depend on making shots equals a pretty quiet crowd for the so-called best crowd in the NBA.

The Spurs won game 1 by being the better team, lost by game 2 by giving it away, and now won game 3 by being the better team. There's no storyline here. No subplot. No drama. Just because a team made a bunch of shots doesn't make this some drawn out, complex drama series with twists and turns. You can forget Curry and Thompson. That has passed. The home crowd pumping up the team at home has passed. It's gone. Give it up.

Tonight just shows that you can't depend on making jump shots to win a series. No big celebrations by the Spurs fans tonight. The Spurs just went out and beat a team they were supposed to beat. Nothing more, nothing less.

Only thing OP was missing was an "LOL best shooting backcourt in history" and it would have been perfect.
