Am I the only one that can't hear the commentators worth shit? Meanwhile the crowd volume sounds like it's in surround sound. This always seems to happen with games on ESPN for me, but today's game is worse than normal.

They don't have much from the perimeter. Their offense becomes stagnant when Fatsol and Fatdolph go in luls during the game.

Abaka has fallen off the face of the planet. Dude is worthless right now.

They still have Fisher and Martin who love to play against the Spurs, and you know Abaka would come around when Pop has the team leave him open for 18-foot jumpers. I'll take the Grizz.

Is a certain poster ready to admit we aren't better without Russ?

I think short medium term you guys are absolutely worse without Russ.

However, I'm looking at the long-term potential dynasty implications of having a guy like Westbrook on the floor. He isolates himself very much like Kobe did. This would be ok in LA where you can routinely roll out the league's highest salary and basically buy championship teams to put around him, but that's not going to fly in OKC, same as any small market team.

I think if you could trade Westbrook for any other (young) top point guard in the league, the Thunder would be a better team in the long run for it. Of course you guys are worse without him, any team in the league is worse when they lose their starting PG to injury and don't have a decent backup.

However, Russ has shown me absolutely nothing to suggest he's a true leader. Just a guy who leads the team in shot attempts, which is absolutely not the same thing at all.

Except this year we have Green and Leonard who are both playing out of their minds. Green or Parker on Fisher, Leonard on Martin, and tell Tiago to stay the fuck on Ibaka. Game set match.

Yeah, Serge's confidence is definetly somewhere in Z-Bo's gym bag. I'd rather play OKC, there's no doubt there. Memphis has superior perimeter defenders in comparison, and I don't have any desire to see 48 minutes of Gasol/Randoph.

Except this year we have Green and Leonard who are both playing out of their minds. Green or Parker on Fisher, Leonard on Martin, and tell Tiago to stay the fuck on Ibaka. Game set match.

Don't think it'd be that simple. Fisher would find a way to bully Green eventually (strange things tend to happen when Fisher's involved), and Leonard would need to guard Durant. Parker would be responsible for Reggie Jackson who could possibly give him problems if he's still gimpy. Not sure what to expect from Splitter the rest if the way; he could just as easily forget to stick with him often enough to allow him to heat up.

The NBA really needs to fix the clear path rule. Had he not fouled there he would have been able to make a play on the ball so why is it clear path.?

It shouldn't be clear path when the guy is on the side but I also might exclude clear path from being called in the paint.

Probably not. Manu had a broken arm in the playoffs.

I also think Battier is both a better defender and shooter than Prince.

Both teams have got better, but Spurs have got considerably better while the Grizz only slightly. Healthy Manu, Timmy and Splitter and trading up to Kawhi from Jefferson.

I fancy the Spurs in 6.
