The Spurs have home court back. They accomplished the most basic thing they needed to do in Oakland. They just have to do their jobs at home and they're off to the WCF.

+1 for the :crySpurs classy thread.

I think most of the angst is because our big 3 are TOSBs, Manu has been Captain Unreliable for a few years, TP still has tunnel vision problems despite Chris Brown's effort to fix his vision. Parker and Duncan still have great games but all 3 aren't a force like they used to be, at least not at the same time, so we need our Others to step it up, which sometimes they do but tonight was just horrendous, at least offensively. And it doesn't help that Pop is both smart and the most stubborn dude alive. So it's understandable if confidence is shaky.

We do have homecourt and I just hope for the best and a good offseason as well.

I'd like to think I have a point of perspective because all this bitching and screaming doesn't compare when LA fell 2-3 down to Boston. They took care of business at home and sealed the b2b. But yes, Parker needs to stop flicking on and off like a switch. How he plays dictates the overall demeanor of the Spurs. That role is shifting away from Duncan.

The first bright side is that a 100 M Southern California team got swept in the first round.
The second bright side, if Spurs lose, is that a Northern California team will advance.

I think Pop planned this. No way TD missed those needed FTs. In Bonner's Game 3 interview, he didn't even have hope of securing both games on the road. He said "Hopefully we'll take a game here". I don't believe Bonner, Pop's #1 side chick, would question if they could get 2 road games(if Pop wanted to). The only thing that would make sense is that Pop planned to lose one of the two games. This must be is way of making it up to Stern.

Spurs can take game 5 but very very closed
probably the spurs win with a 3 point buzzer beater by Timmy D

Spurs will take the next two games by a combined +35...ereasing every everything that was said and done about this series, freeing a huge bunch of bandwagonners which will run to the Heat just to be sure this time.

Reminds me of when mouse used to get on here and tell Spurs fans to get down from the ledge, after telling people to jump all season long.

Warriors aren't afraid, Spurs aren't worried. Win Game 5 and then go for the jugular.

BTW, if Perkins hadn't gotten hurt, the Celtics would've won the title in 2010. :p:
