Cause against us he happens to knock down jumpers like Larry Freakin' Bird.

The Spurs have a knack for making barely in the league role players look like Michael Jordan. Role players routinely set their personal bests against the Spurs. It's how the defense is designed, to stop known threats and make others beat you.

This is a good explanation as to why the Spurs let mega scrubs always go HAM on us.

Often it doesn't work though.

Ibaka is a completely different player without Westbrook, tbh..

This season, Ibaka had 4 games in which he shot less than 40% from the field..

Since Westbrook went out vs. Houston, Ibaka has shot less than 40% in 4 games, matching the mark for the entire regular season..

ibaka ain't never really that good to begin with. an athletic big with average 1on1 defense. dude hits some easy open jumpers every now and then, and his help-defense is legit, but he doesn't have many extra qualities worth speaking of imho. guy is a decent role player but ain't a piece of cornerstone that OKC expect him to be tbh.

this basically sums it up. jarret jack has been killing us since his days in toronto. dragic had a 21 point 4th quarter in the PLAYOFFS!!!! we were one of few teams that great oden looked nice against when he played against us(remember that game in which jefferson dunked on him? that game). barerra in playoffs with the mavs. steve blake this year. i can go on and on. plus we gave him the open jumpers. we are the worst team at defending the pick'n'roll i've ever seen. but it's hard to score when u were a 4th option and now the 2nd the 3rd are gone.
