There's only so much you can do without that giant pussy Rose. Winning the 1st game in Miami was a valiant effort, and a good reminder to Miami that coasting ends when the playoffs start (Bucks series notwithstanding).

Thibs is probably one of the better coaches in the league, and guys like Nate and Belli have progressed nicely in the system. This is a team that looks like they're one star away from actually making some real noise.

The good news with Rose is that if he doesn't get shot down in some gang street fight over the summer, he should be ready to play next season.

All in all, a fairly solid season for a team that was hurting all year.

I hope whenever Rose comes back, he's a shell of his former self like Brandon Roy. Nothing would please me more than to see him average 9 ppg and .8 assists. His endorsements would drop, he's be exiled next to Dick Hamilton, and he'll be out of the league in 4 years. The Bulls have been so full of heart in these playoffs they have impressed me no end.
