I think that quick turnaround on Sunday afternoon sucks. Why not make it a night game? At least they get 3 days off before Game 3...

Because ABC wants a Sunday game and it wants that game on Sunday afternoon.

At least the Spurs have a potential to get plenty of rest before the finals... if they don't get their assess beat by the grizzlies.

Quick turnaround reminds me of 2008 WCF Series vs the Lakers...

I like it. We had 8 days off between rounds 1 and 2, and it didn't help much.

Any educated guesses on what time the 5/25 game will be?

Guys who can't get on the floor don't perform. Having Splitter after game 2 was critical. What if he'd missed the first four games?

Two days off should be fine. If Indiana wins Saturday, ECF should start Tuesday. NBA only making itself look bad in the PR department yet again by potentially giving Heat more rest than the West.

This time everyone is healthy, so it's all good.

The two days off between now and sunday will be great.

If the Spurs can get both at home, they have a great shot to steal a game in Memphis.

Quick turnaround worries me about games 1 and 2. Three days off between 2 and 3 will be great for the Spurs but taking care of business at home the first two games could be very difficult. It's obvious the Spurs (mainly Tony) need all the rest they can get right now. He just isn't right.

That rest in between games two and three could be huge for us.

Tickets in similar areas are at least 30% higher than equivalent series from last year. I go to a ton of Spurs playoff games, I just spent $100 on 10th row balcony seats from TM that cost me ~$60-65 last year for the WCF. So blow me.

If spurs win series, this will give us more rest or the heat less rest for nba finals.

With that schedule, it'd be huge if the Spurs can win both at home, because if so, they'd get a good chance at stealing one on the road from that long break. Winning this in 5 isn't out of reach, but it is unlikely.

Don't like it, don't pay. Supply and demand. Get on your knees.

If they can get both at home, the 3 days off gives them a fantastic shot at in 5.

I'm happy with the schedule. Friday and Saturday off and then play Sunday afternoon? That sounds like sufficient rest to me.

That big break before Game 3 will be huge. If you remember correctly, there were no extra days off last year against the Thunder. IMO, that played a role in the demise. Come Game 3, they were already dragging. In this series, the Spurs can load up for Game 3 to give it all they got.

The drawback of this schedule is no extra day of rest before Game 7. Considering how physical this series will be, I'm not sure the Spurs will have the legs to win a Game 7.

fuck off faggot. You're gonna ride my nuts because a 30+% increase in ticket prices over last year surprises and annoys me. Somebody hasn't gotten their dick wet in a while, but it's definitely not me.

Obviously the key is to take care of the first two home games. Schedule sets us up perfect to steal one in Memphis during games 3 and 4.

Not even close, our plane stalled all night and then the next day basically! TWO NIGHTS OFF HERE, not even close! That one went 7 in 08 too! Much different here. Two days off is not a very quick turnaround, sorry.

Yeah the first two games at home are crucial, obviously every game is now, but it'd be ideal to finish in 5.

I don't think this serie will go 7 tbh, its going to be a very physical serie one team will collapse before a game 7.

not really similar. We went from playing on the road in New Orleans, had plane trouble right after, then had to fly to LA to start the Laker series. We're playing the first two in SA this time.
