Man it's hard to believe it's been 22 years. That loss was such a shock at the time.

Hmm lets see....Sean had a broken Rocky dennis face....Sidney Green.... David Greenwood... and Paul Pressey....sucked donkey balls, Terry Cummings was a ball hog with his shitty reverse layups....we got out played and gassed...I fucken hated the 1991 Spurs team...we had a solid core team with the 1990 Team...with Brick and Wingate off the bench.

I thought they traded Brick that year to get Strickland? I know they had to give up Cheeks. Maybe I am crazy. Did they trade Brick to get Pressy the next year?

I was 4 at the time, the reason I went to games was to see Robinson dunk, and to eat a shit ton of food. Can someone please explain?

After the '89-90 season (Robinson's rookie year where we improved by 35 games and lost in the 2nd round vs portland) Don Nelson did to us what he did to the Mavericks in 2007. Just basically swarmed Robinson with a bunch of smaller players and we got beat in the first round.

I was in middle school and was sure that we had a championship core with Strickland-Anderson-Elliott-Cummings-Robinson.

Does anyone remember that year our catchphrase was "We Want It Now"? As in, it= a title. LOL early 90s Spurs...

Wasn't a huge fan at the time but the mid 90s teams underachieved badly.

1995 prime example. Too much talent to be ousted by a 6th seed tbh.

That fucking slogan....was stupid.... we won the Midwest Division by default when the Jazz lost the last game of the season...I knew we were in trouble....Larry Brown fucked up that series!

Sean ****** described it as "win in the Regular Season...lose in the playoffs"... the best teams of the 1990s were

the 1990 team best turnaround MWD champs
the 1993 Rejuvinated coached Team by John Lucas beating the defending Western Confernce Champion Blazers....Lost to Phoenix RIP Hemisfair Arena
1997...We had injuries but this team was fun to watch even Nique played....despite the shity season
1998 Pop takes rien....Start of Duncan era
1999...6-8 start Spurs are hated by city rumors of Robinson trade....Mario Ellie Calls out Team..... Spurs kick ass win 1st NBA title start of Dynasty...

Worst

1991 lost to GS 3-1 MWD champs
1994 lost to Utah The short Rodman era ****** Traded
1995 Best record in NBA....D. Rob MVP.....They kicked everyone ass until the Lakers series something happened and we lost our funk D Rob gets schooled goodbye Rodman

God that was a horrible series. To this day, I never fail to enjoy a series win because there was a time that it was extremely rare.

How do you put that partial-birth abortion in 1997 ahead of the other teams which all made the playoffs - esp the 95 team that coulda shoulda woulda won the title????

Antique Wilkins and Monty Williams weren't very fun to watch as I remember...
