Surprised many are picking the Spurs considering the constant bombardment from the media on how great the Grizzlies are.

He just hates small markets and owes Bowen.

Say it ain't so, Stein! You've been on the Spurs bandwagon forever!

First timvp, then Mark Stein, might as well admit it, it's over ... :depressed

Oh wait, his boss now tells him who to pick.

this is a close series. my servers still doing computations. I will come out with a prediction momentarily.

It seems the quantum calculations are leaning towards Spurs in 5 or Memphis in 6....

Damn I did not expect that. Thought it would be all Grizz but like 3.

Shelburne talked about every Warriors loss last series in a "Yes, but..." kind of way. She's a troll like Israel. I was surprised to see nine of 14 picks in favor of the Spurs despite ESPN's coverage suggesting a lot of hype for a potential Miami-Memphis Finals.

I don't know how he is at prognostication, but Arnovitz is probably the smartest guy they have over there. I'll take having him in our corner.

Makes sense to hype the team you think will lose to keep the loser's audience engaged.

Tbh, Abbott and Stein picking the Grizz in 6 is disconcerting imo. Hopefully it's just because Hollinger is now part of the Grizz FO.

They are following the hype, but know it wouldnt be smart to go against the Spurs in a game 7 at home.

At least someone is seeing this series through clear eyes - the Spurs have been the 2nd best team in the NBA all season and fairly dominant in the playoffs and absolutely dominant when they needed to be. LOL at all the doubters.

These "experts" don't know more about the outcome of this series than anyone of us. There are so many questions about how these two teams will matchup, that any prediction is just a shot in the dark. So I will take us being favored by them with a grain of salt.

The fact that all those morons picked the Spurs to beat the Grizzlies in '11 when we all knew they were doomed says it all. It's not a conspiracy against the Spurs, it's just ignorance.

Everyone has Spurs in 7 or Grizzlies in 6 except one dude.

Grizzlies won't win unless the Spurs are too hurt to win game 1-2. If Spurs take those 2, they will win in 5.

No one knows, really. My quick reflections on past encounters with the Grizzleys don't make me fear them. On another note, not sure why I think this, but this may be the seres we really see who Tiago is and why Pop brought him here. What is obvious about Tiago is his court awareness and great moves to the basket. With Manu feeding him, we may see his game average increase signiicantly.

That would be Windhorst, Lebron's personal pubic hair stylist.

I wonder what his angle is.

He probably think the series will go the same as the Warriors one did. Grizzlies tying it up 2-2 then getting rolled in games 5 and 6. I could see that being a possibility if Memphis takes a game at SA.

Maybe I'm alone in this thinking, but I'm not sold Memphis can beat us 2 straight games. I don't think they're that consistently good offensively, and won't be unless Splitter or Duncan gets hurt.
