The start of the Western Conference Finals are already less than a day away and boy have Spurs fans been passengers of a rollercoaster to get here. Ginobili had been injured or flat-out incompetent most of the season, Duncan narrowly escaped a career-ending injury, Stephen Jackson quit out on us, and Parker was injured mere weeks before the post-season at a time he was playing the best basketball of his life. The regular season went from basketball perfection to a dismal downward spiral to mediocrity towards the end. Come the post season the Spurs sweep the worst Lakers team we've seen in years which totally unprepared them for the offensive assault the Warriors would bring to the table in Curry, Thompson, Jack, and Barnes. Despite the chaotic nature of the Warrior series the Spurs proved they were, in the end, the better team with a better coached and more experienced crew with championship blood in their veins. The WCF are finally upon us and the opponent is, as usual, the favorite to win. Game 1 is always interesting since teams haven't had a chance to figure each other out yet and both teams will be playing on default so to speak. So...who wins? Vote and post your thoughts.
