:lol It's not everyday you get to make a lol thread about the greatest player in the history of something... So when you have the chance, you fucking take it!

But seriously - for being the GOAT, he has a pretty big thorn in his side with Nadal.

Imagine if Nadal wouldn't have been born. Fed would have like 30 slams by now.

Yeah but if Fed had never been born, Nadal might be the GOAT :lol

TBH, I wasn't expecting anything from Fed this Clay season. Everyone knows this is the buttpicker's jungle tbh. I'm just gonna wait for Wimby. Imma bump this when he wins his 18th tho..

Nadal = GOAT

I watched my first tennis match from start to end late last night. Maybe not the most wisest of decisions, but it was interesting to see how dominant Rafa is. The whole complaining about his grunts was hilarity because I would imagine after 33 matches, his grunting probably isn't a new variable.

I'm not surprised about Nadal winning in straight sets, tbh. No one should be. Even when Federer was at his peak and Nadal was just a young chap, he still had his number. So now that Nadal is at his peak and Federer is getting older, did anyone think Fed had a chance? :lol

The argument is simple...If Federer was considered the goat a few years ago, and Nadal regularly beats him, and Nadal will probably surpass the career GS record in a few years...it's a no brainer that Nadal is the new goat.

This article makes a really good argument:

Nadal is also 22-15 lifetime against Djokovic, 21-10 against Federer (21-6 outdoors) and 13-5 vs. Andy Murray. That's a 56-30 record involving the Big Four of his career.

Federer is 10-21 vs. Nadal, 16-13 vs. Djokovic and 9-11 vs. Murray for a 35-45 record.

I Wouldn't be so sure. With the amount of punishment Nadal's body has I don't know how much "peak time" Nadal has.
