1963 is since when we have data for wins for ... and hence the arbitrary cutoff. Here are the top 50 winningest players in the NBA who have played atleast 874 (regular season + playoff) games (thats how much Manu Ginobili) has played, a rough equivalent of 10 seasons including playoffs. (Italics - still active)

Haha Will Perdue actually made some sort of list, he is the reason why Michael Jordan is regarded as one of the best. Well him and Luc Longle.

i would really like to see the breakdown of regular season vs playoffs as far as wins go. depending on how this season plays out, timmy may have a shot at top 3 most playoff wins IIRC. let's get the 5th :lobt2:spurs!

If we take a cutoff of a minimum of 100 playoff games played, here are the top 50 winningest players.

Damn Michael has big hands. And you you what they say about guys with big hands?......they have better control with the ball.

Seriously though, ever wonder why jordans moves always look different than anyone we compare him to as for as athleticism? He was able to move the ball through the air so much because of how big his hands were.

MJ would have won 758/1109 games if he had retired with the Bulls. Good enough for 8th position below Rodman and one above Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

And if he didn't retire. Twice.
