I would tbh..

He needs a no nonsense coach and a my way or the highway organization to put this guy in his place. Once he gets his ego in check he can be useful.

In addition to Wisconsin, Rhode Island also says yes and Massachusetts is on the fence. I guess Celtics fans are really desperate now.

So who are you going to pair him with?

I'd take a big over any PG any day.

It has been establish that PGs fail in the playoffs. You're better off with size. There is plenty of average PGs that would complement the talent of a center or a PF to be honest.

Shadowflames gets it. Dwight is the best center in the league and had pretty good numbers on a bad back. I love Asik and if we rolled into the season with him at C, I wouldn't complain because I'd hate to see him go. But Dwight can finish strong at the rim. Asik has terrible hands and can't really finish there.

if he doesnt bother to leave 20m something on table and leave LA, i'd be more than glad to see him joining dallas tbh. he & dirk would complement each other very well, and they can use mayo as a cheap labor for another year. if they can land another star player from free agency or via a trade, they will be a serious contender for the western conference title next season imho

Yes, without a doubt..

He wasn't healthy this year..there's a chance his injuries have permanently damaged some of his athleticism, but today's medicine/surgeons have made it likely that any top athlete can return to form, tbh..if he's healthy, only Lebron and Durant are better..

A healthy Howard is a guaranteed top-tier defense, elite rebounding and an efficient 20 PPG..

In addition, he's probably going to be motivated and fuelled after this year's embarrassment and ridicule, tbh...

Celtics have nothing to lose really. The team is getting blown up eventually, so why not sign Dwight and try to make another run? If he even semi returns to form, he would be a huge upgrade from our current centers. Pierce, KG, Rondo, Dwight and Bradley aren't a bad starting five, with Sullinger and Bass off the bench.

Could form the most stout defensive team in the league to be honest.
