So Flop ain't goin anywhere this offseason since he'll be handpicking the coach. And after the Lakers amnesty Kirby, he'll join the Clippers to stay in LA.

And your team got swept by the "suck ass" Clippers.
So if they "suck ass," what does that make the Lakers?
Oh yeah...
The biggest failure in sports history.

Scott and Drew would be awful. Don't really know Malone, but Bud or Shaw would be great gambles to take, and JVG would be awesome too. Gentry would be a huge upgrade over Captain Hair Fake too.

LOL, not a chance after how ugly the breakup was in 1999. I will forever love Pop for erasing what was Red McCombs' biggest fuck-up with the team (Del Negro replacing Strickland).

A Golden State assistant. If his coaching style is to go full jeebotard like Jackson, maybe best to stay away from him too.

Bud seems like the best realistic option tbh.
Hopefully, Sterling dies so Phil could take a FO role and just shit on Laker fans even more.

Hope they don't get Bud, since Pop has been grooming him to take over the head spot in San Antonio. Still, I wouldn't hold it against him to take his shot now if Sterling offers him a really good deal. That would be a really solid roster for him to work with and maybe he can beat some maturity into Blake.

not saying they shouldn't have fired him, just that the overall level of nba coaches is really low under the five-six stars (doc, pops, tibs etc)

This is because the NBA has a tenency to recycle shitty, ex-player coaches that are proven failures..
If the NBA starts migrating towards international/college coaches, ex-scouts, etc for coaching hires, there would be a notable improvement in team quality, tbh..

After Vinny writes his tell all book this summer the Clips are going to have to pay him 10 million to return…

It won't happen, but if Sterling was to offer Phil a chunk of ownership i say Phildo listens.
Ditto Nets.
Sterling should offer Phil a good chuck. He could well sway quite a number of bandwagon Lakerfags and own L.A.

Rumor is that Sterling is in SA now to scout out Hollins during the Spurs-Grizz games.
But, the article says he's probably going to be too expensive for the Clippers.

which coach would you hire then? and where would he take these current Clippers?
truth is, the team as assembled sucks. Soft bigman. Dissapearing superstar. Monkeyballers.

I'd take Stan Van Gundy in a nanosecond.... he coached a very flawed team full of horrible contracts and built around that soft bitch Bible Kemp to the Finals.... very smart, and knows how to craft a system to his personnel....
Second choice would be Budenholzer....
I also doubt the roster will be exactly the same - DeMonkey Jordan's ass is getting traded at the first opportunity, for starters....
