Ok, build your best team out of non-starters. You can use the autoinclude Manu if you want, but if you do, you're a fag. Make a team of people that wouldn't start on good teams, but are decent bench players. My "looked at NBA.com stats for five seconds before building this team" team:

PG: JJ Barea
SG: JR Smith
C: Enes Kanter
SF: Shane Battier
PF: Jared Sullinger (homer pick)

Off the top of my head, I'll go with:

PG: Dre Miller
SG: JR Smith
SF: Battier
PF: Ryan Anderson
C: JaVale McGee

Couldn't resist your Battier and JR picks.

Damn that's a horrible team. Not talent wise, but synergy wise. Drummond and Gibson don't spread the floor and hover around the paint. Carter is an inconsistent shooter and Bledsoe can't shoot, you're basically relying on Dunleavy to make 3s to keep that squad semi competitive.

Gibson is a pretty average shooter and his defense is excellent. Carter isn't any more inconsistent than any other sixth man, and had a great shooting year. The team would need Bledsoe's penetration + Dunleavy and Carter making jumpers + Gibson shooting at a decent clip to be competitive at all. But it's a squad of bench players; they're not gonna be that good.
For spacing, Amir Johnson might be a better option than Drummond, but that would make the team really small. Gordon Hayward might be another good option on the wing; he handled the ball a lot this year and is a solid shooter/scorer.

Jack, Butler, Battier, Gibson, Kanter.

Pretty good defensive team right there.

battier is an awesome team player, who glues up the team and is willing to sacrifice his own stats for the good of his team
