Blacksportsonline has a couple of funny comments, and a couple of good camera angles, too.

My favorite shot is still this one, when he still hadn't figured out where it hurt:

Thats the problem with replays. If you could check them all the time the better team will have more chances of winning, and thats not something most people dont want.

Hilarious. I'm surprised Stern himself didn't run out on the court and cradle Allen's head in his lap while cursing obscenely at Manu.

"You Argentinian devil! Look what you've done... this isn't over you know! I'll make sure you get tagged with a hate crime for this tragedy! You'll be hearing from my client soon you ... you... evil ...spur!"

This gave me a whole new perspective on Tony Allen's BB IQ. I am so glad that it didn't alter the outcome of the game. I don't blame Allen or Ginobili, but instead wonder what the ref's looked at to call a flagrant?

*Waiting for Yomamaiscalling to enter thread to tell us Tony Allen's writhing on the ground holding fake injury to head was completely justified*

Can we get a gif of Allen writhing in pain holding head with the Emperors force lighting hitting him with the Vader cut scenes looking back and forth?

I know, tall task but it would he awesome.

I'm 100% with JVG on having one "challenge" per half on plays like this and the such.

What drove me up the wall is that they REVIEWED the call. It was bad enough they ruined two stretches of the game with bad whistles on Duncan and Conley, they compounded those mistakes with that bullshit. How could they justify that? Ridic, ridic I say.

So, does Allen get fined for this?

The officials reviewed that for ten minutes and STILL issued a flagrant 1.

He should be fined and the flagrant should be rescinded. Not that it would of helped had we lost.

Allen didn't get fined for tripping TP in Game 1, they'll let him get away with this too. They're the new golden team, after all.

Any team that plays the mean bad Spurs is the golden team.

He won't be fined because the NBA will claim his reaction did not affect the call.

The flagrant won't be rescinded either.

No doubt.

Got to give him credit, that acting job almost changed the series. He's brilliant if you ask me.

So, does Allen get fined for this?

If he does not then i do not see how anyone can take the new flopping rule seriously. The rule was supposed to do away with the very thing he did. To make matters worse, everyone outside of Memphis has picked up that it was a hard foul to the arm compounded by a flop by Allen.

Even better to have Manu standing nearby shrugging his shoulders with Chumpdumper in full priest attire performing an exorcism and casting holy water at him while chanting "The spirit of Stern repels you!! The spirit of Stern repels you!!"
