I'm not sure what to expect from this movie - I grew up the biggest TMNT fan as a kid, I'd hate to see it get ruined by Michael Bay. Then again, it's a story about walking, talking, turtles with weapons - it may be right up his alley.

watched them alot when i was a kid. although im not a big fan of that franchise any more, their names are funny as hell

Cartoons that we grew up with and have a biased nostalgic opinion of need to be directed and written by people from our same era. Michael Bay's made a lot of money from the Transformers movies unfortunately, so I'd expect him to shit on the audience that grew up with TMNTs for the sake of making the movie accessible to the general audience.
