I didn't want to create a new post. Perhaps a special post should be made for this special Spurs fan, but many Spurs fans know The Spurs Lady, a well known fan in SA. Her family has recently reported that she has passed away from a heart attack. There had been some reports that she had been having health issues recently. She has been a staple in the community, and a fan's fan. Sovia Lauriano will be missed! Will be interesting to see if the Spurs will honor her at a home game. RIP Spurs Lady. GSG!!!
Sovia Lauriano, known affectionately to many as "The Spurs Lady,” has died, according to multiple posts from city officials on social media. “San Antonio has lost an irreplaceable thread in the fabric of our community,” San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg posted on his social media accounts. “Sovia ‘Spurs Lady’ Lauriano embodied the heart and soul of our city, radiating love for SA in everything she did. Her presence brought joy to so many, and we will deeply miss her unwavering spirit.”
