A game 3 win will pretty much lock up this series and as a result send us on our way back to the NBA Finals. It's almost surreal to think we are so close. I have a strong feeling Memphis will be looking for a knockout punch early but then again I was expecting that Games 1 and 2 as well. So all in for Game 3! Go Spurs Go!

We'll be flat for the first 5 minutes of game 3 because of the time off but we'll find out legs and get at it. Memphis will resort to packing the paint and open up our shots just gotta knock them down. Less Neal and Bonner and we should be okay. We win game 3, lose game 4 and close the show in game 5.

Game 3 is ideal. Limit Memphis' offensive rebounds, and it's a win and pretty much locks up the series in 4 or 5.

I agree. 3 days of rest. Play till the last second. Don't give the Grizzlies any confidence. Cause this is a road game Pop's going to have to be even more selective in his bench use.

We need to have our best defensive stand of the year for this game! Shut down defense.

We need to play game 3 like it's game 7. Hit them with everything we've got and take that win away from them. I don't think they can pull off 3 come from behind series wins in a row but you don't want to give them even the slightest glimmer of hope of winning the series. Not when we are this close to the big show.
I think Parker (maybe Kawhi) said as much in a recent interview so I think they are all on the same page.
I think the extra few days rest for Parker and Kawhi are going to do wonders for their game 3 chances and I couldn't be more stoked. At least until we win the next two and advance.

I think Memphis will jump out to an early double-digit lead. The Grizzlies will be playing hard with determination and desperation. The Spurs must, must keep the game close no matter what. Remain within striking distance of the lead.

They need to put the fucking hammer down and make them feel helpless.

I'm kind of banking on this happening, tbh..and if it does I'll be flying down for game 5. I've never been to a playoff game, let alone one of this magnitude...I want to be there and experience the atmosphere. I wouldn't be upset with a sweep..but am looking forward to above scenario playing out...would game 5 be Wednesday night?

Sweet...I'm at a pt in life(32)..where $$ isn't an issue, nor is escaping work for a couple days if needed..how many more chances are the spurs going to have? I think they can get back after this year, but am not banking on it. I want to see a closeout type game. I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out....I wouldn't be against coming down for a finals game or three, if it plays in their favor. But if I could go see them closeout Memphis, at home, and win the west...I think I would be pretty satisfied, regardless of what happens against Miami.

Question for the locals...I found a str8 flight out of chi(for a potential game 5)...and I also found tickets, which are fully refundable, if the game doesn't occur. The tickets, while aren't the best, aren't terrible. Are there plenty of options with the scalpers, for these type of playoff games...or not so much? And if there are lots of tickets available, are they good seats or junk(no one else can get rid of). The ones available on stub hub were down in lower level(upper part of lower level) ...around free throw line area for a few hundred/ea..
