You just get this feeling that Phil doesn't really like Kobe on a personal level but loves Shaq

Phil is 100% the attention whore that Kobe is. I think that part of the reason Phil doesn't like Kobe any more than he does is that they are both so much alike.


We all recognize Kobe's 'pre-announcement announcement' this week as attention-deficit disorder (i.e., I'm not getting any and I want some), but the very same goes for Jackson with timing his book to come out during the playoffs and getting attention for it.

^ agree, phil and kobe have similar personalities (both attention whores to some extent) and that's why they could get along well with each other imho.
