i want the spurs to play the heat not the pacers. i wanna beat lebron. i wanna disappoint all the bandwagoners and dick riders. i wanna ruin their season. i want to celebrate on their floor. i want espn to be forced to talk about the spurs and how lebron couldnt get it done. i want lebron to be 0-2 in the finals vs the spurs. i want them to show the clip of timmy and lebron embracing at the end of game 4 in 2007 talking about how "this is gonna be your league soon."

go spurs go

There's gonna be a lot of threads to bump if the Spurs lose the series to Memphis

We're fans, not coaches or players. It doesn't matter if we get ahead of ourselves or not.

Lets focus on the task at hand. Be reminded we were 2-0 vs OKC last season .

You're expecting the Grizz to now win the next four, aren't you? Since you predicted the Grizz in 6 and, as you say, "fans don't mean stupid."

I would like to play whoever gives us a better chance of winning the title.

If Spurs are fortunate to get by MEM, I want them to win the championship and the chances are better vs IND than vs MIA. IND is just a much better matchup for the Spurs - similar to MEM. Control the big men with Duncan, Splitter, Diaw. Paul George is a better matchup for Kwahi than Lebron. Pressure Hill's ball-handling. The advantages elsewhere are with the Spurs: Parker, bench, 3pt shooting, coaching, experience, etc.

Give me the lesser opponent everyday. I'll thank IND and they can have all the glory from beating MIA.

The coaches and players need to "focus on the task at hand." Fans don't.

I wish spurs win that serie. I thought Grizz would win it, after 2/0 I think Spurs are gonna win but I don't project myself to the next round before finishing this one.
I guess you were expecting the spurs winning OKC serie and you were discussing the future match up against the Heat.

No you don't.. You definitely want to play the Pacers over the Heat. Miami will get there anyways, but you don't want us to play them. Be careful what you wish for.

Which would easily be Indiana obviously, but they don't stand a chance against Miami.

Miami is fukin garbage, they've played the losing record Bucks, the injury depleted rose-less bulls, and now an offensively challenged Pacers team. Not impressed. I for one, think the Spurs would shit all over Miami. Spurs have the offense and the defense.

I would love to play the Heat, but I hate getting ahead of myself and thinking ahead. I feel that just jinx the whole thing.

But I do believe we will win game 3 vs Memphis.

Yesterday I ate an apple. Today I ate an apple. Even though they were both apples, they were not the same apple. In other words, you'd guess wrong, per par apparently.

Too much pride.

the spurs would have a much better chance of winning the championship if they play the spurs. 10 years from now, no one is going to talk about who we beat..Most of us will be talking about winning the 5 and that's what matters most.

I think you mean playing the Pacers, but I agree, a championship is a championship no matter who the Spurs beat.

Weren't there threads like this last year after the Spurs went up 2-0 on OKC? Be patient and don't underestimate the Grizzlies.
