Heat have an ungodly record since acquiring him, and his size, defense, and rebounding will be sorely needed this series.

Doesn't really matter... I think he's ok coming off the bench. As long he plays the most minutes, it works out.

i think either he or haslem should be a starter. niggas provide their team with hardcore D which no one else has.

Imagine if OKC had stayed healthy signed Birdman and threw in the towel on Perkins like Miami did with Joel Anthony..Lol, Presti

It doesn't matter. Stern has already decided that Superfriends will be the champs this year.
If he's successful off the bench, why fuck that up by starting him? We did that with Manu, didn't work out so great. You need strong bench play especially when the opponent has banked everything on their starters.

true but i don't see why they should play BOTH him and haslem off the bench. they can start one of them while playing the other off the bench so they alway shave a hardcore rebounder & defensive big on the court. Pacers shat all over their heads in the paint in game one because the heat are weak as shit in the paint, which's downright horrible for a team that's supposed to contend imho

It still pisses me off that he sat home all year with none of the other 29 teams wanting him either..why couldnt some some team like Atlanta have signed this guy..it's funny too because every Denver fan I talked to said the guy was washed up

I hate this faggot take

What?! Chris Andersen would be virtually worthless to OKC. He's a decent role player off the bench. He comes in and gets some easy dunks and scoops up a few boards. Do I really like Perkins? Not really. As I've said before, I think he's no more than a role player who should be playing limited minutes with OKC. But...Andersen with OKC just doesn't make much sense. Gasol and Z-Bo would have torn him a new one. As would Tim Duncan.

If not starting, he should at least be playing more minutes. He's at about 15 mins per game but he's easily Miami's best big outside Bosh.

Out of morbid curiosity, why do you watch basketball if you think it's staged? Do you just have a self loathing thing or is it more about your lack of a will to live?

Spurfan cums their drawers at any decent showing by a scrub in the NBA. He's the thing we need suddenly.

He has at least some skill on offense, unlike Perk and Joel Anthony..now instead of going four on five you're going five in five..he also a ten times better shot blocker than Perk and at this point A LOT better rebounder (check their rebound rates) although he's not as good a post defender as Perk he definitely battles in there..
