Does anyone know if there ever was a Sports Illustrated Championship Hardcover book ever published featuring the 1999 NBA Champion Spurs? I searched Ebay,Amazon, google, etc. and found nothing. A friend insists that there is since he has a couple of Chicago Bulls SI books from the second 3peat. Please verify. Better yet, if anyone has a copy he/she is willing to sell, PM me.

Yes there was a hardcover produced, but I'm not willing to part with mine.

Not SI, but this looks pretty legit.

Thats the Official NBA Finals Retrospective book. I am looking for the SI version, much thinner and smaller but just as insightful.

I think once this years is available to order, they make it to where you can order the back issue collectors editions online, if they're available. I ended up buying my 2005 on ebay. Still needing the 2007.

I e-mailed SI about this years Limited Edition Championship Hardcover, since I never saw one. I got a response from them saying they didn't produce one. So not only did we get that pathetic excuse for a Championship DVD, but SI can't even go through the trouble to throw a hardcover on a magazine they already printed, slap on some gold foil lettering, and charge us for it?!
