Never said you were a fatass, did you even go to college? I'm just saying people are GOING to think Spurs fans are. There's the stereotype that a lot of Spurs fans (from San Antonio) are hefty; watch some commentary from Charles Barkley, he say a lot about SA women.

You're going to exacerbate this by pointing out, your pre-game meal, where you are just going to sit on your ass and drink beer, is to eat at an all-you-can-eat buffet?

Come on man.

I just don't get how people can drink straight liquor like that. I have tried and tried to enjoy and it just hasn't hit my palate as of yet.

I can enjoy a whiskey with a beer, but for the most part I can't just drink scotch or bourbon yet.

Add in some crispy spring rolls and some pork dumplings, and that is one tasty (and healthy) meal. :tu

Its not wine. Its a drink with herbs, used like a digestive drink often.
You have to drink it many times before you can "understand" it. It has a bitter taste.

Here's the wikipedia description:
Fernet Branca is a bitter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitters), aromatic spirit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distilled_beverage) from Italy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy).
It was invented in Milan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milan) in 1845 by the Italian Maria Scala, married Branca, as a stomach medicine. Since then, the Fratelli Branca (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fratelli_Branca) distillery produces the drink according to a secret family recipe with 27 herbs from five continents. According to the manufacturer Fernet Branca includes aloe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe) from South Africa, rhubarb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhubarb) from China, gentian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gentian) from France, galangal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galangal) from India or Sri Lanka, chamomile (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamomile) from Italy and Argentina, saffron (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saffron), myrrh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myrrh) and elderflower (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elderflower). It is aged at least one year in oak barrels. The alcohol content is 39 or 40% in Italy and 43% in Austria.
The same manufacturer offers also a sweeter bitter, Brancamenta.

We always play the same drinking game during Spurs' games.

Take a drink when:
-TP falls down
-We dunk
-Nail a 3
-Get a steal
-Get a block
-Timmy makes a FT
-And anytime Kawhi does anything cause I want him to have my babies

Obviously, we end up getting pretty fucked up. lol

Oh, and we'll be drinking rum and dr pepper.

Now I'm getting hungry. Stuck at work another 40min. The game starts at 3pm here but I gotta eat some of my leftovers in the fridge. I got part of a Kal-bi/Meat Jun Korean BBQ plate, some Kalua pig, a beefy nacho Taco Bell griller(have no idea how long that's been in there), a slice of Red Baron pizza, and Ben and Jerrys Dublin Mudslide(the best flavor). All that will probably keep me on the toilet the rest of the night.

Hard to find a good masseuse, believe it or not, at least where I'm at. There are a lot of shops around, but only a few do it well. Still a mediocre massage is better than nothing, and the price is right: usually less than $20 bucks for 2 hours for both me and my wife. Great way to kill a couple of hours and relax on a hot day.

One of the better places locally is run by a foundation for the blind.

For visitors to Thailand, you can't go wrong with these guys: HealthLand Spa (http://www.healthlandspa.com/home.html) Several locations in Bangkok. Very nice environment, all professionally licensed masseurs, all good. Price is more expensive by local standards, but still a bargain IMO.
