There are some players who simply have bad intentions out there in any sport and don't care about demonstrating any type of class. He's just one of those type of guys. In the previous shot you can see that Allen is near the paint and has to take the long way around by the Spurs bench just to be in position to run into Splitter. Once you know that, it's pretty hard to argue that it was just an accident and he just happened to be in that area.

Nah, if you watch Allen closely he looks downward right before he does it so he wouldn't just accidentally hit a guys foot he's looking right at when he hits it. He pretends to stumble because he's a bad actor/flopper. I just thought it was hilarious and a good insight into the type of guy he really is behind the scenes. Competitors don't do that kind of trash to each other outside the whitsle if there's mutual respect there. Kind of shows he's probably legitimately despised and for good reason.
