Enjoy your title San Antonio, it will be the last. By the way the playoffs are working out, Spurs getting lucky with a 3-1 overtime record and getting lucky with injuries to other teams best players and catching the breaks with playing the easier matchups this could be the year for number 5.
Enjoy the title because I am sure it will be the last. The spurs will be conservative bringing back the same team just like they did after their last title in 2007 and won't get anywhere near a title next year. Duncan will begin to fade as a player and so will the Spur title chances. San Antonio will not support a losing team for long and that is what the spurs will become after Duncan leaves.
The future of the Spurs is the St. Louis Spurs.

I didn't know that getting to the WCF in 2008 is "not getting anywhere near a title." It sure turned out better than the next two seasons after they decided to shake things up.

The future of the Spurs is the St. Louis Spurs.
More likely the St. Louis Grizzlies.
St. Louis seems like a town that could afford Rudy Gay (or at least wouldn't blow a chance at a multi-year title window over a few bucks).

I didn't know that getting to the WCF in 2008 and losing to the eventual champion
Let's not gift the Lakers any more championships than they were already gifted, tbh.

i dont think the spurs are going to the worst city in america in terms of crime, no disrepect to st louis, im sure they will get an nba team, but not our spurs, win or lose our spurs arent going anywhere, the spurs are the city of SA and SA is the spurs.
They had a team and lost it. That's where the Hawks originated. I doubt they'll get another chance.
Besides. with the additional ATT Center lease adjustment signed for the last batch of improvements, they are locked in place for 19 more years.

At Louis not only doesn't have the facilities but no desire to have an NbA team. I have family that lives there and I spend a lot of time there. Not nor ever happening.
All this is is attention whoring.

what kind of grasping at straws is this? even if everything you said came true, we'd be forced to lick our wounds with our FIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS???
sad when the worst you can do is say, "Enjoy this last of your epic streak of winning."
They had a team and lost it. That's where the Hawks originated.
I knew that they had a team in the past but never knew it was the Hawks.
St. Louis is a huge baseball town, less so football, less so hockey. But I don't know that they would have the fan base for a pro basketball team again, since the only college there that has a basketball team is St. Louis Univ., not exactly known as a major college draw. Mizzou has a decent basketball program, but it is just not a deal up there compared to baseball. Nothing, is, tbh.

Seattle will have a team soon. It will be awhile before the spurs move to St. Louis. There has to be some lean years with poor attendance which will happen.

I am a loser with women and with making money.
Other areas I am all right. I am not a bad looking guy and am athletic so it wasn't like I was some strange nerd who was only into books.
I never had any dates in high school or even college. Just didn't feel like I had anything to offer or that a girl would even be interested. I didn't even touch a girl until I was 28, didn't have a relationship until 38 and married a woman I was not even attracted to at 48 (because I thought I would never get married with my track record). I really feel sorry for my wife.
I thought getting a college degree in engineering would help me land a good paying job, it never did. I am working a low paying job similar to what I worked before I got the degree. UTSA in San Antonio does not have a good engineering program at least when I went to school there. I came out ill prepared to do well in the field.
I lifted weights for over 30 years and I would say that it didn't help much with getting girls interested or building confidence. I could never get the girls I was really attracted to(blue eyed brunettes), they never seemed to be available and the one girl that I thought I had a shot at in college I just would get really nervous the times I tried to talk to her so I felt I had no shot in hell with her and never even tried asking her on a date. This I regret because I never met another girl the way I felt for this particular girl.
So I am saying to the young readers out there if there is a girl you want go for it because the ship may sail away and you will be left with a life of regret.
This thread is also for all the losers to say you are not alone, there are other people who have experiences like you. Don't be afraid to stand up and call yourself a loser, don't care what others think, and try to make the necessary changes and I hope you have better luck than I did.

This rascal fellow is just looking for the attention she never got as a child. When you have a team with 4-5 championship banners, it becomes a whole different story. But rascal, you don't have to worry your little lice-infested head over that.

I'm just going to say this. Leonard and Green have played quite well, quite well indeed. They are young, and will get better each year. ESPECIALLY Leonard. If Splitter stays around he should improve as well. I don't see the Spurs folding up as you wish. Especially if Pop stays around.

You need Prozac, dude. With all the hate you're spewing, at fans of YOUR team, you must be bipolar. Or bisexual. Or both.
If the Spurs do win it all this year...... Yes, it probably will be our last title. So what? Why the fuck would you, allegedly a Spurs fan, take such joy in stating the obvious?
and while the Spurs might someday leave San Antonio, it's far more likely to San Diego.

Or, the Spurs are one win away from appearing in their fifth NBA Finals and they have never lost when they have made it to a Finals.
OP needs to just say goodbye already and down a bottle of Drano.

I like this poster. Life would be pretty boring if we all thought and acted the same. This forum would be boring without some confrontation to spice things up. If we all started threads that said Spurs are great...Duncan is top 5 of all time...Pop is a great coach...ect...after a while it gets monotonous. Let the adversity and different opinions flow.

If the Spurs win it all this season, there is no reason to think it would be the last one. This group will still be good for another deep playoffs run. And the Spurs will be fine with Parker, Kawhi and Splitter.

Why become a fan then if you aren't one now. Serious question. Are you from St. Louis ?
