....that is fact. The question I have is...if we lose in the Finals...are we still considered a choking team in the playoffs? Everyone says we are a great regular season team now but choke in the playoffs since 2007. It actually makes me laugh but its out there. We lost in the WCF's last year...and people said we choked....I said we made the Final 4...and they had no response since their team didnt. In 2011, they said we choked against the Grizzlies....okay...I cant argue that one...but you see where I am going here. We have a 15 straight playoff appearance with 4 titles to show for it and some people say we are a choke team. Its idiotic and uneducated. If we lose the Finals you can bet everyone will say we choked but wont bring up all the other teams like the Lakers, Knicks, Thunder, Grizz, Clippers, ect choking....

Let's be honest here...

They will lose to the Miami Heat, the Spurs don't match up very well against them. Not hating or anything, but after tonight the Heat will more than likely get to the Finals.

Miami already won the title. just going through formalities.

Yep, the Finals have pretty much already been decided since the team w/o HCA won the last 2 years, which was rare. No chance in hell it's happening again for the 3rd year in a row.

I get that Miami is a heavy favorite but your statement makes no logical sense. I could just as easily say the trend in the finals is for the underdog to win. That means we have a chance.

That doesn't mean anything...these stats are very misleading . No "HCA" stat can decide who win a championship. Just like the 3-0 Playoff stat whereas no team have ever came back from that deficit. These are not Facts, just meaningless Figures.

Speak for yourself or timvp or brazil

After Westbrick went down I would have been very surprised and disappointed if the Spurs didn't make the Finals. Even more disappointed then after falling short last year. tbh

the expectations that were set before the playoffs started have been exceeded. I don't know how else to put it imo

Folks, a Spurs-Heat Finals is all but set at this point. I know the Heat will probably repeat, but if there is one team in the West that has any reasonable shot at unseating them, it is the Spurs. Let's close out Memphis, get to the Finals, and see what happens. Who knows? It IS an odd-numbered year, after all. Either way, I'm really enjoying the ride! :hat

Hell yeah. I NEVER thought we'd have another shot at the Finals after last year. I really can't believe we're only one win away from going back. It just seems unreal. How sweet would it be if we could actually win it?

If the Heat get to the Finals, it will more than likely be after tonight, so I don't get your point.

Fuck MIAMI.

I don't know why many a Spurs fan likes to genuflect at the altar of LeBron. Get off your knees peeps. Spurs got this. MIA Kryptonite is an attacking PG who has at his disposal, a legitimate post threat-Check and wing players who can either attack or can hit outside shots.

I ain't kneeling...why should any of you?

We have always been a "mismatch" against any team. Yet we prevail. Worthless thread. Yet another bandwagon fan in the house.

Actually HCA has been a disadvantage in the Finals the past 2 years.
