1. You can only beat the teams you play.

2. If we beat the Heat, nobody will be saying we got a free pass.

3. If we don't beat the Heat, it doesn't matter anyway.

Without Harden, and with the growth of Kawhi and Danny, and more importantly, with Timmy's resurgence and Tony's growing experience with longer defenders, I would still bet on Spurs even if Westbrook was not injured.

Overall, I still think Nuggets are the worst match-up in the West for the Spurs, even though they sort of choked against the Warriors.

This years Spurs team is better than last years Spurs team and would of beat 2012 OKC

The Spurs should have been in the '12 finals.

What if Manu, Tim, and Tony were healthy every postseason since our last championship in 2007?

If Rose was healthy the Heat don't make the Finals last year.

I respect your humility on this question. And I agree, Spurs would've won in 6. It's too bad you guys traded Harden, I went on record saying I thought it was a terrible decision when it happened, and it ended up even worse than any of us could have imagined. OKC would've been amazing for years if they kept him and used him properly.

Its all speculation tho, that's the point. Do the Lakers win their first title during the kobe/shaq era if duncan doesn't get injured? Who knows, injuries are a part of every nba season.

Shouldn't have traded Harden, that one move led to the events that included Westbrook getting injured

He wasn't healthy.

Just like Derrick Rose, and Rajon Rondo.

That pussy is petrified of everything now. He'll probably miss a game next season due to a chipped nail.

Blazers would have beaten the Spurs, but I don't think the 2000 Lakers get through them.

What if Duncan didn't sprain his ankle against Utah in 1998, or if Derek Anderson was fully healthy in 2001, or if DRob was healthy in 2002, or Fisher didn't hit that BS short in 2004, or Manu didn't commit that silly foul in 2006, or if they called the obvious foul on Barry in 2008, or if Manu didn't get injured against Phx in 2011.

and so on
